{"id":86900,"date":"2024-01-26T11:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-01-26T17:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=86900"},"modified":"2024-01-26T09:15:15","modified_gmt":"2024-01-26T15:15:15","slug":"dfl-priorities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=86900","title":{"rendered":"Metaphorical Perfection"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>How much effort does today&#8217;s #MNDFL put into acting like a bunch of 25 year old &#8220;influencers&#8221;?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>President Biden came to Duluth\/Superior yesterday to celebrate breaking ground on a taxpayer-to-political class money transfer machine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And the DFL showed him where he stands, figuratively and literally:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/twitter.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1750697034028298381\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>What just happened?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Either:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <em>Babylon Bee <\/em>has developed Artificial Intelligence video to the point where they can make a video mocking the President and the gathered, uh, dignitaries, or&#8230;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Governor Klink and Senators DeVille, Baldwin and Slugger made the President stand with his thumb up his butt while they took the inevitable slew of selfies to gurgitate out onto social media.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I love how the even President Biden, around :30, puts up his hands so as to say &#8220;What TF?  <em>Aren&#8217;t I the President<\/em>?&#8221; as DeVille, Slugger and Baldwin cackle like a bunch of Edina housewives chugging box wine.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hilarious?  Yes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A perfect representation of today&#8217;s MNDFL &#8211; the obsession with self-adulatory echo-chambering, the forced junior-high giggling, the obliviousness to anyone and anything outside their special little world?
