{"id":83558,"date":"2022-10-06T11:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-10-06T16:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=83558"},"modified":"2022-10-06T08:57:08","modified_gmt":"2022-10-06T13:57:08","slug":"the-show-suit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=83558","title":{"rendered":"The Show Suit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Keith Ellison, after three years and 9 months of glorifying, aiding and abetting crime and the collapse of the rule of law&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/image-2-714x1024.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-83559\" width=\"256\" height=\"369\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230;is &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/bringmethenews.com\/minnesota-news\/ellison-sues-fleet-farm-over-illegal-and-negligent-gun-sales-to-straw-buyers\">tackling gun crime<\/a>&#8220;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The lawsuit,\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ag.state.mn.us\/Office\/Communications\/2022\/docs\/FleetFarm_Complaint.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">filed in Hennepin County District Court<\/a>, alleges Fleet Farm sold at least 37 firearms to two straw purchasers over the course of 16 months, despite red flags that some buyers were trafficking the guns to criminals and those otherwise prohibited from legally purchasing guns themselves.\u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>But &#8211; is it really &#8220;tackling gun crime&#8221;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pay attention.  It&#8217;s <em>Keith Ellison<\/em>.  Of course it&#8217;s a cynical artifice.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The alleged straw buyers were already arrested, tried and sentenced&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230;by the Feds.  Not by Mike Freeman, John Choi or Keith Ellison, none of whom cares about straw buyers, since it&#8217;s not a &#8220;sexy&#8221; crime (until five weeks before the election, anyway); nobody ever got elected Senator for chasing down a gang-banger&#8217;s grandmother.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s their job &#8211; but none of them are doing it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rob Doar at the MN Gun Owners Caucus explains the stuff the media won&#8217;t re Ellison&#8217;s deeply cynical action.
