If so, what\u2019s the first one that you remember owning? If not, do you recall any of the first titles that you borrowed from the library?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;My&#8221; first book was a little pocket book of World War II airplanes that had been my dad&#8217;s when he was a kid.\u00a0 I read it <em>constantly<\/em> for years.\u00a0 My first library book was actually the American Heritage history of the Civil War when I was in first grade.\u00a0 It was a little over my reading level &#8211; I remember proudly reading about the &#8220;UNN-yun&#8221; and &#8220;con-FEED-rate&#8221; armies &#8211; but the pictures of uniforms were soooo cool&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.What\u2019s the first book that you bought with your own money?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A book of Civil War stories.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4.Were you a re-reader as a child? If so, which book did you re-read most often?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There were books I read <em>many <\/em>times.\u00a0 I probably re-read &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Wooden-Horse-Eric-Williams\/dp\/0140070303\">The Wooden Horse<\/a>&#8221; at least a dozen times.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.What\u2019s the first adult book that captured your interest and how old were you when you read it?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s a tough one.\u00a0 I hardly ever read &#8220;kids'&#8221; books.\u00a0 I was pretty much checking all my books out of the adult section by third grade.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>6.Are there children\u2019s books that you passed by as a child that you have learned to love as an adult?
