I think the Cenk is realizing what his former co-host, Ana Kasparian, learned a couple of months ago; the left has been co-opted by mentally challenged people. The fact that a survey of lefty voters this week want Kommissar Kamala to run again for 2026, says it all.
Kasparian has been a fascinating read this past few months since someone in the comment section – maybe you – introduced me to her.
If I was in Trump’s position, and Joe and Mika wanted to “restart communication” after calling me “Literally Hitler” for 8 years, my response would’ve been to tell them to pound sand.
I’ve gotta admit, that’s Trump’s instincts to actually sit down with them may have been even more vicious. They’ve been chumming the waters since since 2016, and Trump has effectively gotten them to put on a bloody meat suit and go swimming with the sharks during a feeding frenzy. It’s absolutely glorious.
They were So Brave to risk deportation or even imprisonment to interview Literally Hitler. They are the most impressive journalists since Dorothy Thompson herself.

(A) Mika and Joe are trying to save their own skins. As anyone could see was coming, Comcast is casting off their TV networks, and MSNBC is the weakest, poorest performing of those networks. If they have any chance of surviving more than a few months, they need to make massive changes to make their show valuable to a new buyer.
(B) Ana and Cenk are still dedicated leftists, but they haven’t drunk the Kool-Aid and joined the cult of woke. Woke is a religious cult, persecuting heretics with a zeal that makes the Spanish Inquisition look moderate. And Woke controls the Democrats right now. So Ana and Cenk are living in a world where their blinders have been removed and they’re realizing that the right isn’t evil, they just disagree with them.

I’m not sure if any of you commenters have ever seen video or read comments by Nicole Shanahan, RFK, Jr.’s VP running mate, but when the two of them switched their loyalty to Trump, she had some qualifying statements. During their fights to get on and be removed from state ballots, she got a big dose of left wing lawfare. One of her comments about those battles, ended with the statement, “I get it now!”
