A Couple Bucks In The Proverbial Tip Jar

Sure, it’s entirely plausible that an entire “white supremacist” group without a single inbred-looking morbidly overweight guy among ’em might march through DC without a mob of “counterprotesters” howling for their blood. It’s a crazy world, anything can happen.

What makes this whole thing seem just a tad lessplausible is…:

…watching the police let them all march into the subway, in perfect order, while keeping anyone else from following them.

As we saw in Minneapolis and Charlottesville, cops are vastly more likely to just let “counterprotesters” and “white supremacists” duke it out.

I’m not saying they’re all feds, nosireebob.

I’m just saying the market for “white supremacy” in this, Barack Obama’s third term, so vastly exceeds the supply that the government needs to do the equivalent of putting a couple bucks in the tip jar.

  1. The United Kingdom will not be sending fighter jets to Ukraine. Ukraine decided they only want F-16s and the UK does not use them.

    Apparently, beggars CAN be choosers.

  2. (Bill Gleason’s protégé)Emery,
doing your best to deflect from your own shortcomings eh?
Here you are, no credentials, no moral center, and NO courage, for all to see! Ineffectual, impotent, immoral, thy name is Emery!

but there is a road to redemption, start by regaling us with your CV.
You’re not an expert if you don’t have the credentials!

You love to brag about your indicia of wealth and privilege, why not brag about your CV?
What colleges count you among their alum?
What bachelor degrees do you hold?
Where did you get your Masters?
Where did you get your JD?
Where did you get your PhD(s)? What was it like to work with Bill Gleason?
Where did you get your MD, what internships did you complete?

  3. Today’s Commentary podcast is good because you get hear a panel of #nevertrumpers — they absolutely despise Trump & will never, ever vote for him — go into great detail what how Durham exposed what an absolute shambles the Hurricane Crossfire investigation was. For example, they explain that Andrew Weissman, the true author of the Mueller report, went on NBC to belittle Durham’s credentials & his lack of understanding of how the FBI works, when in reality Durham made his name by exposing & successfully prosecuting an FBI agent who was actually in the pay of Boston organized crime boss Whitey Bulger.

  4. OK, Emery, so you’re OK the FBI putting people through investigation Hell without even checking the basic premises of the investigation? Am I reading that right?

So if it were your savings being drained by the billable hour as the government goes on BS premises to investigate you, you’d be OK with that?

Seriously, I think you need to learn the difference between “not enough evidence to convict” and “the behavior of the FBI was appropriate.” The answer to the first may be “yes”, but the answer to the second is definitely NO. Unless you’re some kind of weird sadomasochist, I guess.

  5. At 2:15 the troll gets something right: yes, total exoneration, of Trump. Well done.

  6. What the Durham report shows, without a doubt, is that Crossfire Hurricane was hatched by Hillary campaign people (including prominent members of the Current Biden administration, like Jake Sullivan), that Obama and Biden were aware of it, and that the Hillary campaign used close allies in the Justice Department to trigger Crossfire Hurricane.
something is rotten at the top, elite level of Democrat politics. Biden’s National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan produced the “Alfa Bank” conspiracy theory, SecState Antony Blinken was behind the “51 intelligence experts” letter that claimed the Hunter Biden laptop discovery was a Russian intel op.
Democrats might want to think about what else they believe is true that was spoon-fed lies by powerful people in the Democrat party. The facts are indisputable, which is why Democrats want to shut people up rather than debate the merits.

  7. first, a typically nasty tweet from Weissman about Durham:
    Andrew Weissmann 🌻

Why does anyone care what John Durham thinks about FBI policies? He’s never worked there and that is not his remit or expertise. Bottom line: he lost both of his crim cases and found no vast left-wing conspiracy against Trump.

  8. And Durham’s career from Wikipedia (a left leaning source):
    Federal government
Following those five years as a state prosecutor, Durham became a federal prosecutor, joining the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Connecticut.[11] From 1982 to 1989, he served as an attorney and then supervisor in the New Haven Field Office of the Boston Strike Force in the Justice Department’s Organized Crime and Racketeering Section. From 1989 to 1994, he served as Chief of the Office’s Criminal Division. From 1994 to 2008, he served as the Deputy U.S. Attorney, and served as the U.S. Attorney in an acting and interim capacity in 1997 and 1998.[12][13]
In December 2000, Durham revealed secret Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) documents that convinced a judge to vacate the 1968 murder convictions of Enrico Tameleo, Joseph Salvati, Peter J. Limone and Louis Greco because they had been framed by the agency. In 2007, the documents helped Salvati, Limone, and the families of the two other men, who had died in prison, win a $101.7 million civil judgment against the government.[14]
In 2008, Durham led an inquiry into allegations that FBI agents and Boston Police had ties with the Mafia.[15] He also led a series of high-profile prosecutions in Connecticut against the New England Mafia and corrupt politicians, including former Governor John G. Rowland.[14]
From 2008 to 2012, Durham served as the acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.[12]
On November 1, 2017, he was nominated by President Donald Trump to serve as U.S. Attorney for Connecticut.[16] On February 16, 2018, his nomination was confirmed by voice vote of the Senate. He was sworn in on February 22, 2018.[12]
In May 2019, William Barr chose Durham to lead a probe into the origins of the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation and the Mueller special counsel investigation.[17] On October 19, 2020, Barr appointed Durham Special Counsel to lead the Durham special counsel investigation in an effort to ensure the investigation continued after the Trump administration ended.[18][19]

  9. More on Durham’s qualifications to nail the FBI:
    Appointments as special investigator
    Whitey Bulger case

Amid allegations that FBI informants James “Whitey” Bulger and Stephen “The Rifleman” Flemmi had corrupted their handlers, US Attorney General Janet Reno named Durham special prosecutor in 1999. He oversaw a task force of FBI agents brought in from other offices to investigate the Boston office’s handling of informants.[14] In 2002, Durham helped secure the conviction of retired FBI agent John J. Connolly Jr., who was sentenced to 10 years in prison on federal racketeering charges for protecting Bulger and Flemmi from prosecution and warning Bulger to flee just before the gangster’s 1995 indictment.[14] Durham’s task force also gathered evidence against retired FBI agent H. Paul Rico, who was indicted in Oklahoma on state charges that he helped Bulger and Flemmi kill a Tulsa businessman in 1981. Rico died in 2004 before the case went to trial.[14]

  10. But Andy Weissmann says you can ignore Durham’s investigation of the FBI because “he never worked there.”
    Democrats, you are being gulled.

  11. Democrats, you are being gulled.

You are assuming any of them give a shit about that? Why?

  12. And now Marc Elias is on twitter reminding people that 17 intelligence agencies wrote a letter in 2016 professing the sincerely held belief that the Russkis were behind hacking the DNC computers.
That would be the same 17 intelligence agencies that expressed “high confidence” that the Steele dossier was not a Hillary! created hoax.
FWIW, the FBI’s official response to the Durham report was not to dispute its findings, but to acknowledge that “mistakes were made” with Crossfire Hurricane & they are taking measures to prevent its like from ever happening again.

  13. No one denies this. Instead they just blather on about Trump having a Jewish daughter and son in law.
The FBI’s Operation Crossfire Hurricane was tasked with investigating Russian involvement in the 2016 election, yet a major memo sent from the CIA to lead agent Peter Strzok outlining U.S. intelligence that Hillary Clinton may have hatched a plan to frame Donald Trump — which stood to dramatically alter the investigation — simply went missing, according to the blockbuster report from Special Counsel John Durham.
“In late July 2016, U.S. intelligence agencies obtained insight into Russian intelligence analysis alleging that U.S Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton had approved a campaign plan to stir up a scandal against U.S. Presidential candidate Donald Trump by tying him to Putin and the Russians’ hacking of the Democratic National Committee,” the report said.
On September 7, 2016, the CIA wrote a “referral memo” addressed to FBI director James Comey and to the attention of Deputy Assistant Director Strzok saying as much. The information was considered so important that then-CIA Director James Brennan immediately briefed President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Attorney General Loretta Lynch, and Comey about it in the Situation Room. Yet not a single FBI employee working for Strzok who was interviewed by Durham could recall seeing it or doing anything with the information.
While the Russian intelligence that was intercepted could have been an “exaggeration or fabrication,” it would have rung true to the FBI agents because they suspected, correctly, that the sources that were feeding them the anti-Trump narrative were being paid by the Clinton campaign or DNC, and caused them to proceed more skeptically.
Some agents expressed “surprise and dismay” to learn from Durham that the FBI had received this intelligence but bosses had seemingly concealed it from them. “For example, the original Supervisory Special Agent on the Crossfire Hurricane investigation, Supervisory Special Agent-1, reviewed the intelligence during one of his interviews with the Office. After reading it, Supervisory Special Agent-I became visibly upset and emotional, left the interview room with his counsel, and subsequently returned to state emphatically that he had never been apprised of the Clinton Plan intelligence and had never seen the aforementioned Referral Memo. Supervisory Special Agent-1 expressed a sense of betrayal that no one had informed him of the intelligence,” Durham wrote.

  14. Accuse your enemy of a witch-hunt, scream to the rafters that you will get to the bottom of it, slings charges that could not possibly be verified, gather information, investigate thoroughly, exhaustively and repeatedly then quietly shut down the investigation after no evidence of wrongdoing can be found.

Whitewater, Benghazi, Voter Fraud Commission, Hunter Biden’s Laptop. All theater and all running longer than an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. And this year’s Tony goes to John Dunham for his revival of “The Phantom of the (fake) Outrage”.

  15. (Bill Gleason’s protégé)Emery,
so nothing bad happened at Benghazi under the feckless leadership of Hillary Clinton? You really have no moral bottom do you?

  16. Mac
Emery is the face of the modern progressive death cult!
There is no murder and rapine he will not applaud as long as it serves The Cause

  17. Four years, and $6.5 million spent. Two failed prosecutions. Durham’s “report” is the definition of a “nothing burger.” The report said nothing that the OIG hadn’t already said. Turns out Republicans love politically motivated big-government waste fraud and abuse.

  18. The Meuller report says hold my beer: 32 million dollars, 3000 witnesses 3 million documents, and NOTHING. Including ZERO charges of obstruction. Hey troll, if there were charges of obstruction, why were there no trials for those big ten charges?

Two failed impeachment attempts to derail the country’s business.

Oh no lil’ feller, Durham’s report doesn’t come close to the waste and fraud of the above.

  19. Durham’s report says the bs russian collusion hoax investigation should never have been started. Yeah, nothing, just like inside the troll’s skull.

  20. Let’s deal only with the overt facts. Durham investigated for four years using the power of the grand jury and indicted two “cases.” Like all senior prosecutors and particularly special counsel he had total discretion to bring whatever charges he could support with evidence, and hopefully prosecute successfully beyond a reasonable doubt. Remarkably, the cases he developed and chose to bring were so patently absurd that the juries in both trials acquitted almost instantly — after deliberating just long enough to eat lunch. The reasonable and logical conclusion any experienced criminal lawyer — prosecutor or defense — must reach is that Durham’s four year multi-million dollar investigation was feckless, without substance, and from all appearances politically driven. Nothing in his self-justifying report changes that.

The Mueller report produced 37 indictments; concluded that 2016 Russian interference was ‘sweeping’; and identified numerous links between Russia and the Trump campaign. Mueller also stated that if they could have exonerated Trump they would have done; and concluded that on many occasions, Trump and/or his people obstructed justice. Does the Durham report negate any of these findings?

The bottom line is this: has the Durham report resulted in any negation of the resulting indictments and convictions or the conclusions of the Mueller report? (Hint: no.)

Which proves that being a far right conspiracy theorist means never having to say “I was wrong”.

  21. Then-President Barack Obama and then-Vice President Joe Biden were personally briefed by then-CIA Director John Brennan in 2016 that the CIA had evidence of Hillary Clinton planning to falsely link then-presidential candidate Donald Trump to Russia, according to a report by Special Counsel John Durham released Monday.

  22. Russian collusion was a hoax, just like the Proud Feds parade. Take the L and get on with your life in mommy’s basement.

  23. Virulently anti Trumper William Barr said the russian collusion hoax was despicable behavior by the FBI/CIA/Dhimmis and the mediots, a catastrophe for trust in the institutions. But yeah, we got nuthin.

  24. All of the Muller indictments were process crimes, perjury traps, small details changing in different interviews.

Whoa, talk about high crimes, lol.

  25. Lol changes the subject. Troll, the next time you directly respond to one of the hundreds of accurate charges that you are a liar will be the first.

PS the IRS, at the behest of our CORRUPT doj, shut the investigation into crackwhore biden down.

    Yup, not dirty at all.

  26. Laugh at this bit*h:

Special Counsel John Durham on Monday published a 300+ page report on the origins of the Trump-Russia collusion investigation, representing the end of a years-long investigation.

Included in the report are the details of a White House briefing on Aug. 3, 2016, during which then-CIA Director John Brennan met with President Barack Obama, then-Vice President Biden, FBI Director James Comey, and other senior administration officials to discuss Russian efforts to interfere in the election.

The report further highlights that Brennan specifically informed the group of then-candidate Hillary Clinton’s approval of a plan to paint Trump as being in league with Moscow.

“According to Brennan’s handwritten notes and his recollections from the meeting, he briefed on relevant intelligence known to date on Russian election interference, including the Clinton Plan intelligence,” Durham wrote. “Specifically, Director Brennan’s declassified handwritten notes reflect that he briefed the meeting’s participants regarding the ‘alleged approval by Hillary Clinton on 26 July of a proposal from one of her [campaign] advisors to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security services.’”

  27. I don’t see any indictments. A number of you in MAGA world said there would be multiple indictments. Did I miss something? Were there indictments?

  28. The recently released Durham Report found, “Neither U.S. law enforcement nor the Intelligence Community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.

  29. No actual evidence of collusion.

And you’re changing the subject again. I am kicking your ass today

  30. If this comment thread was a little league game they would call the game over, citing the mercy rule for what I am doing to you.

I just call it a beatdown.

  31. MAGA world is already spinning this report as a win.

The case involving Hillary Clinton’s emails was reopened right before the election. It was not known until after Trump was elected that this Russia investigation even existed.

That is all I need to know in terms of bias.

  32. This hilariously ends with Trump ally Tom Fitton, of Judicial Watch expressing disappointment with the four year, multi-million dollar Durham investigation, yet continuing to insist that there had been a “conspiracy by Obama, Biden, Clinton and their Deep State allies.”

Yet the SiTD MAGA crowd will cherry pick and believe that this is supportive of what they’ve been saying all along ignoring the central fact that nothing in the report rose to the level of criminality, unlike the actual Russia investigation which actually resulted in convictions.

  33. “I don’t see any indictments. A number of you in MAGA world said there would be multiple indictments. Did I miss something? Were there indictments?”

It’s a pity the shot callers of the Uniparty are not as stupid as their field minions.

Imagine the Light Worker, or Comey waving the Durham report on CNN, laughing and saying “Where’s the indictments, fools? There are none; MAGA loses, again! Hahahahaha!”
