Clarity

On Friday morning, someone tried to jack a van in the Phillips Neighborhood.

The would-be victim tackled the suspect and held him til the cops arrived.

Point of order: in a Minneapolis where Mary Moriarty is the district attorney, is the suspect…:

  • The vanjacker, or
  • the guy who tackled the vanjackier?

With Mary Moriarty in office as Henco “prosecutor”, one must not assume.

  1. Ha! Trick question, MBerg. It all depends on the races of the carjacker and the victim, of course.

  2. ^ funny thing about good jokes like the above: they seem so obvious when told. Good one, UMMP.

  3. Funny thing about jokes like the above: in leftist shit holes they ain’t jokes. 10/10 if the jacker got tuned up, the victim would be charged with assault.

  4. There is a video going around the internet now that shows a customer shooting dead a criminal who had just robbed a TX restaurant at gunpoint. Black robber dead at the hands of a white guy.
I’m not sure that I would have done the same thing as the white guy in the video. The criminal didn’t take anything from him and the crook was leaving, almost out the door, when the white guy shot him in the back. Again and again and again. Then he tossed the robber’s gun & shot the crook in the head for good measure.
The cops are looking for the white guy & I think that I know why, it sure looks like the white guy kept shooting the bad guy long after he stopped posing a risk.
Also it seems the robber was using realistic looking pellet or BB gun.
OTOH, if the robber had lived, who knows what of lawsuit he might lay against the “good guy with a gun”? Best to just keep shooting.

  5. I saw that, UMMP, although the clip I saw ended right before the shooting. I thought the fact the robber had walked past the shooter didn’t look great, but still thought it was clearly a justifiable shooting; after all, negroes shoot people for running out of dipping sauce for their chicken tendies. It’s perfectly reasonable to think that one would spray some lead on the way out, to vent his frustration.

However, a coup de gras shot is never a good idea, and almost always guarantees a manslaughter beef t the least, and a civil lawsuit from Ben Crump.

  6. All those shots were defensible, except the last one, IMO. Plus he left the scene, and plus this is Houston which is infested with leftist trash.

Still, I’d exonerate him if it was up to me.

  7. I wonder how much longer I will be able to simply post a link to a video or pic under the assumption that it is real. AI produced deepfake is getting really good, really fast. Blockchain might provide a solution.

  8. To the main point, I don’t know how Minneapolis will respond. Since it was a transit van and most likely a unionized government worker, I’m guessing they’ll prosecute the criminal this time.

To the side question, if the white guy had shot the perp ten seconds earlier, when he was still threatening customers, he goes free. But he did it when the perp was walking out of the store, so my guess is he gets to spend a few years in state custody when they find him. That’s why they can’t find him. He knows what he’s in for.
