This Is The DFL Majority In Action

The Senate voted to allow water bottles on the floor of the chamber.

After 45 minutes of debate.

And when I say “debate“ I mean this sort of thing from my “Senator“, Sandi Pappas.

Weird. I didn’t think Democrats believed in slippery slopes?

As someone else put it:

  1. Good. The longer they spend debating stuff like this, the less time they spend developing new idiot proposals to throw away my money.

  2. ^ Oh, big guy, you’d like to think this but there’s a whole team of young energized acolytes working in the background on proposals to throw away your money. This debate, heck, the topic itself is just to give them time to type things up all neat and tidy.

  3. Ohhhhh! I bet those progressive youngsters are chafing against those old road apples like Pappas!

  4. But I’ve been reliably told by proud leftists that there’s no such thing as slippery slopes. But it’s certainly a racist term. Or something.

  5. Dear Senator,

Please find more ways to dither away time while not passing harmful, unconstitutional authoritarian laws….
    Your Constituent.

  6. “Sealed” water bottles?! WTF?! Are they worried that a water fight might break out?

  7. A certain political party is known for hijinx like spattering people with urine and blood as a means of protest.
