  1. This may be the only endorsement I have ever seen that is a list of the endorsed candidate’s failures.

  2. The Star Tribune endorses Tim Walz because he’s a Democrat while his opponent Scott Jensen is a horrible, terrible, no good, very bad Republican that was recently endorsed by the Bad Orange Man Trump, who loyal Star Tribune readers will remember is literally Hitler, therefore Scott Jensen is also literally Hitler.
Sure, Tim Walz has failed for 4 years, after he flip flopped on guns (Walz was NRA Endorsed for years and the NRA is literally Hitler and literally kills children in schools), and that was after he was a worthless failure of a Congressman. And his congressional career followed a career in the Minnesota National Guard, which loyal Star Tribune readers will know is literally Hitler and kills poor black and brown children overseas because it’s part of the US military, but Walz quit that job to run for Congress and left his troops hanging right before a deployment that he skipped out on, so Tim Walz is fine.

Vote Democrat because the Star Tribune endorses all Democrats.

Even more fun — real excerpts from the Strib’s endorsement of Slow Joe Biden back in 2020.
Biden’s record of service is a testament to the enduring power of relationships, listening, and the search for common ground. His empathy, positivity, belief in American values and in the best of humanity will be a welcome balm to a nation nearly sundered by polarization. His ability to reach out to the other side is evidenced by a phenomenon without precedent: prominent Republicans who have stepped forward to support his bid.
That’s in part because Biden is a moderate, despite Trump’s slanderous efforts to characterize him as some wild-eyed radical socialist. His plan for the economy would restore a needed emphasis on the middle class. Trump’s own alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, analyzed Biden’s plan and concluded it would lead to faster economic growth, higher wages for American workers and a reduced debt.
    . . .
On the economy, we have in Biden someone who helped steer the nation out of the Great Recession, who was a driving force in building the most durable recovery in modern history. He doesn’t shy away from tough decisions nor engage in wishful thinking.
    . . .
America cannot endure another four years of division, chaos, corruption, norm-breaking, rule-breaking, hatred toward immigrants, and lies and incompetence. Biden, along with the well-qualified vice presidential nominee Sen. Kamala Harris, represents a chance to return to cherished American ideals, to call out the best in all of us, and to resume this country’s leadership role in the world as a stabilizing force.

  4. There are some people who take the Strib seriously. And they are allowed to weigh in on things that effect our lives.

  5. I have some entertaining, somewhat Ironic quotes from the Strib’s endorsement of Slow Joe stuck in moderation.

  6. I just arrived so I didn’t have to wait for the unmoderation, but those “ironic quotes” were worth waiting for, UMMP.

  7. The Dems may have avoided actual debates, but we got the electronic equivalent last night during Sunday Night Football. Competing campaign ads ran back to back in point-counterpoint style. Pretty amusing. I got a real laugh, however, at the “Scott Jensen isn’t safe for Minnesota” ad after tolling up all the damage Gov. Wiltz has done.

  8. UMMP, the slobs that wrote that ridiculous endorsement for Pedo Joe would stand up today and tell you everything they wrote has come to pass. Leftists are completely worthless., and have no redeeming value.

  9. They would blame any of Biden’s failures to be the fault of Donald J Trump.

  10. we endorse tim walz for consistent leadership

he earned an a+ rating from nra before endorsing gun control

he believes in a constitutional right to abortion even though he suspended the constitutional rights to speech, assembly, travel, work, and worship

he praises himself as highest ranking noncom while he scorns his troops as cooks and abandons them in the field

yes tim walz has a demonstrated record of consistency

he always puts tim walz’ interests above everyone and everything else

  11. JJ,

Don’t forget: His campaign calls Scott Jensen a “conspiracy theorist”; Walz simultaneously trumpets his endorsement by 9/11 Truther who hosted a show called “Conspiracy Theory” and who was a regular on the Alex Jones show.

  12. i dunno emery
i just got a mailer from tina folch
did you know her opponent is a far right extremist
glad i checked my mail before i voted
now i am convinced who to pick
    anyone but tina

  13. Campaigns sending out mailers at this point — tells me there’s too much money left to be spent in the cycle.

  14. who are you voting for

dont know yet havent been told

    what do you mean told
don’t you make up your own mind based on your firmly held principles and the candidates stated positions

no thats too much work i cant be bothered
the editors of the star trib are so much smarter than me that i am waiting for them to do my thinking for me
i will vote for whoever they endorse

  15. Now that the Red Star Tribune has made their endorsement, we can totally trust them to continue reporting fairly and accurately with no bias by omission on the candidates who are running against their favored party, right?

  16. Chop off your daughters boobs. kill your baby, but don’t go downtown Minneapolis.

With a message like that, I can’t see why Democrats aren’t pollng better.

  17. And Slow Joe is now threatening to tax the oil companies’ “excess profits” if they do not stop their “war profiteering.”
Slow Joe has promised “the oil companies,” that if they lower their price, he will buy their product at $70/bbl to refill the strategic reserve he has drained.
Today oil is trading at $90+/bbl.
Joe Biden is the dumbest president the United States has ever had.
BTW, back in 2020, Trump tried to take advantage of the low price of oil his policies had promoted by refilling the US reserve. Democrats killed that idea because they said that it would enrich the oil companies.

  18. When Trump tried to top off the strategic reserve back in March 2020, the price of oil was $31/bbl Democrats stopped him.
    https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-usa-oil-idUSKBN210369
So, just to be clear, back in March 2020 (which seems like a golden age these days), Trump wanted to top off the reserve by buying 77 million barrels of oil at $31/bbl. The dems stymied the move because it would amount to paying the oil companies to produce oil. Today Biden promised to set a floor price on oil by buying 300 million barrels of oil at $70/bbl.
I don’t often swear but Jesus Fucking Christ the Democrats have fucked us all.

  19. C’mon MP, it’s just Gore math, that’s all. Buy for 3, sell for two and make 1c profit.
