Dirty Harry Meets Batman

Shot: Representative Omar with a devastating riposte to Jim Schultz, GOP candidate for Attorney General, giving us all a civics lesson:

Chaser: Keith Ellison, himself giving, in turn, a, uh, civics lesson of his own:

Which is it?

Is prosecuting violent local crime a job the AGO does when asked? Or is Keith Ellison a caped crusader patrolling the streets and heading off crime…

…badly and half-heartedly, and not at all until a month before an election?

  1. Asserting – defending even – two contradictory positions? Must be DFL-town.

And remember some of those criminals so eagerly “prosecuted” by the caped crusader were small town restaurant owners trying to avoid bankruptcy during the MN state government’s pandemic hysteria.

  2. I remember when Ellison “prosecuted” Derek Chauvin. Most if not all the work was done by volunteer private sector attorneys working for free. Matthew Frank was Assistant AG and led the team after Mike Freeman got yanked.

  3. has keith ellison stepped foot inside a courtroom i would like a list of criminal cases he has personally prosecuted not just as a figurehead name on the roster of lawyers but as the guy questioning witnesses and introducing evidence

also a courtroom trial criminal prosecutor who has never lost a case is a shitty lawyer only taking the easy cases to trial and plea bargaining all the rest to keep his shiny reputation intact and to hell with justice

i suspect ilhan is right the atty genl is not a courtroom trial lawyer position its a political appointment management position same way the commissioner of transportation is not out in the field running the falling-weight deflectometer.

but if ilhan is right that would mean hakiim is a lying sack
    say it aint so emery

  4. Ironically, both George Floyd and Derek Chauvin spent an awful lot of time in courtrooms.

  5. Derek Chauvin is doing 30 years for a crime everyone knows he didn’t commit.

After being exonerated for 2 bloody, violent murders everyone knows he committed, OJ Simson plays golf every day.

Both of these cases have a common denominator. Both were adjudicated by Diverse© juries in leftist shithole cities.

  6. hakim who never lost a case is plainly a better courtroom trial lawyer than the special prosecutor who just lost his case against that liar with a russian name

never should have tried the case since obviously it cant be a crime to lie to the fbi when theyre paying you to lie to them duh

  7. I remember being told over and over how the Durham probe was going to indict half the Beltway and send all kinds of evil Trump haters to jail. Can you imagine the outcries from Team MAGA if Mueller had lost this much?

  8. How many times must I tell Emery that the voices in his head are not real?

  9. I suspect Putin would agree to surrender himself to the International Criminal Court in The Hague, but only if John Durham is the prosecutor.

  10. Bot boy; dumb as a post.

Did you really expect a left wing DemoCommie operative to get convicted by a left wing DemoCommie infested jury in the District of Crooks? Those juries only convict Republicans, but keep supporting the Federal Bureau of Incompetents, the U. S. version of Hitler’s Gestapo. Dick head!

  11. 🤡 ^ The deep state has infiltrated the juries 😂

I love all these “defend the constitution” “patriots” coming out against jury trials. Say what you will about the prosecutors in Salem, but they got some convictions at trial….

  12. ^^Intense blather tonight. Maybe more psychoactives then usual? The world wonders. Actually, no one gives a sh*t.
