Your Tax Dollars At Work

The U of M is offering a class on the basics and economic, cultural and social benefits of Naziism.

Just kidding. It’s Communism.

Distinction without any real difference.

Its time to defund the U of M. Or at least vast swathes of it.

  1. I’m don’t see the problem. It’s not a class, it’s an extracurricular weekend event, yes? Why is this any different from a weekend learning Transcendental Meditation or Female Empowerment?

  2. The UofM is hosting a seminar from Socialist Revolution; says so on the flyer. They are not “offering a class”.

Facts matter, Merg; even to Patriots ™. Do better.

  4. You’ve framed it correctly, jdm. The UofM is allowing Communist proselytizing on taxpayer maintained property.

I wonder if American Renaissance could get the same courtesy for a seminar from Jared Taylor on the benefits of race based nationalism?

    There’s the problem, right there.

  5. It sounds like a great opportunity to hand out copies of the works of Solzhenitsyn and Valladares.

Yeah, that’ll work. Lemme see. Two hundred page books about a depressing topic with no pictures from a time almost 100 years ago vs mindless hijinks to get back at your mom and dad with a bunch of people roughly the same age (and maturity) as you – and maybe that cute LGTBXYZ… will go out for guilt-free coffee.

  7. I love the ticket prices…..$40 bux if you’re employed, $15 bux if you’re a student and/or unemployed, and $60 if you’re feeling ‘solidarity’ (white guilt).

This 👆🏻 pretty much sums up their whole philosophy……

  8. Well, don’t know much about Solzhenitsyn’s political leanings, but I do have a quabble with the entire article that dismisses his books as fairy-tales. I had a couple relatives who lived it and they thought books were pretty accurate.

  9. Funded by some Trotskyite splinter group called the International Marxist Tendency (IMT) that looks like a vanity group centered around a dead guy named Ted Grant (aka Isaac Blank), who got all of his ideas in the 1930s. Lots of enmity between IMT and the Internationale, who are led by Stalinists.
Just a guess, but the people who show up for this want to be managers and directors of labor, not laborers themselves.

  10. It takes some chutzpah on the part of Communists to equate distaste at the rape of Polish women by the Red Army, and disdain for Stalin, (Solzhenitsyn’s “crimes”) as evidence of being a Nazi. This is especially the case 69 years after Kruschev denounced Stalin and basically agreed with Solzhenitsyn.

I would continue to argue that Communism is inherently brutal, but even those who haven’t picked up that basic fact ought to figure out that the syphilitic man from Georgia was vicious in a way that even Communists ought to reject.

Yes, indeed. Which explains why the seminar is at a university.
