Recruitment

Joe Doakes from Como Park emails:l

Best possible news for our nation: Lesko Brandon kicks out 60,000 unvaxx military members. All those trained professional warriors just became part of The Resistance. It’s not only us Wolverines anymore. Excellent.

Meanwhile, the military is reducing standards again, desperate to find bodies to replace the trained professional warriors they just let go.

Civilian gun sales continue unabated, the better to face off against Lesko Brandon’s Wokesters in Uniform. The next Insurrection should be a real doozy.

Joe Doakes

I’m going to break with Joe on this one for a bit. I’m going to suggest that if we ever have a real insurrection, the military will be the least of the problems, as they are overwhelmingly not drawn from the “blue“ elites.

As Robert Kaplan noted in his excellent (albeit a generation old) imperial Grunts, an 18-year-old from East Texas is 32 times as likely to serve in the military as one from New York City (and that New Yorker is much more likely a Puerto Rican kid from the Bronx, or a blue-collar Irish kid from Staten Island, as opposed to a WASP trust fund baby from Manhattan).

Call me naive, but that’s where I put my faith.

  1. Call me naive, but that’s where I put my faith.

    OK; you’re naive.

That 18 year old from East Texas is every bit as likely to have undergone the same intensive 12 year’s public school indoctrination as the Brooklyn Puerto Rican. And xe is undergoing the same, continuing indoctrination in the military at the same woke commands under orders from the same woke commanders.

It sounds like a rAT Emery “lake front estate” story, I know, but even after all we’ve seen, I *still* encounter MAGA “conservatives” proudly flying “thin blue line” stickers on their trucks. Smh

  2. “albeit a generation old”

Ah, I’d skipped right past that. There’s your trouble, right there.

It’s the current year, Mitch. The last generation is already old and busted.

  3. Say, MBerg, didn’t you write a book about the collapse of the federal government?
I think that is a likelier scenario than civil war. Anyhow, this is America so I would assume that the states would step in if the feds went belly up.
Anyone who is hoping for this is hoping for starvation and death on a massive scale. Look at what a relatively minor land war in Eastern Europe has done to the American economy.

  4. I partially agree with Joe.

My theory is that without anyone left in the military but a woke command structure and 80% LGBTQ grunts and 20% women, the DemoCommies will realize that there aren’t enough people to use as cannon fodder for their proxy wars. They will bring back the draft and just like they did for Vietnam, they will get as many young, urban black, brown and Asian men as they can, interspersed with poor whites from red states. They may even conscript a few thousand of the illegal invaders coming across the border with a promise of citizenship instead of the G.I. bill.

  5. Before we “face off against Lesko Brandon’s Wokesters in Uniform”, may I humbly suggest that we form a “Committee of Public Safety” to deal not only with the liberal resistance but any among our ranks who are not sufficiently patriotic, as determined by said committee.

  6. BH, used to be that whenever I met an especially well adjusted, successful black guy; nice family, good job, he was 9/10 a vet.

Now, with Obama’s Marxist commanders fully in control of the military, the propaganda that inflames the low IQ street thug is being reinforced in the military.

What we’ll increasingly see are street thugs that can actually hit what they’re shooting at; me, you and Ja’quan from the ‘lows’.

  7. Blade;

Yea, me, too. The guys that I served with in the Air Force, enlisted, because they only drafted for the Army. As I mentioned in an earlier post, on three occasions, my Section Chiefs were black and they were sharp, mostly career types. In fact, one of my DIs in basic, was also black. The nicest part was that, none of them were wound too tight and had a sense of humor. My DI was a hard ass until graduation week, then both of the DIs lightened up.

  8. These unvaccinated troops have had ample opportunity to make their choice. Now, the Army will make it’s choice, and even though it will cause a manning shortage for several years and millions of training dollars will have been wasted, these troops need to be removed from the military.

They should get an administrative discharge. Some of them will lose their access to benefits, some may even have to pay back money for various reason.

Soldiers don’t get to choose which orders they obey. Best of luck to the clowns in their next career.

  9. Sorry, General rAT. 😭

They’ll receive a “General under honorable conditions” discharge, aka “convenience of the government”, aka “the Golden Parachute”.

Rank, all benefits and pensions retained.

Best of luck with your seething and coping. 😡

  10. Wow — it seems like the SiTD armchair generals has done an inter-service transfer and become an armchair admiral.

  11. JD, you missed the leading 2 in your post!

At least 260,000 American troops — or about 13 percent of the 2.1 million total force — are not fully vaccinated despite a Biden administration vaccine mandate for the military, and many of them could face discharge.

According to the Department of Defense website, at least 268,858 service members as of July 13 are still not in compliance with Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s August 2021 mandate for every member of the military to be fully vaccinated with two doses of a vaccine. That figure does not count the thousands who have not taken any doses.

  12. Call me naive, but that’s where I put my faith.

As naive as ever! All those Grunts will be discharged and the only ones left will be green zealots and gangbangers who will not think twice about putting a bullet through your head. Pollyanna has nothing on you.

Just think of the percentages of participation. CA is a prime example, the more people flee, the more progressive it becomes. But even if you do understand the math, you are too naive to acknowledge the result.

  13. First of all, soldiers do at times get to choose what orders they will obey. That’s been there ever since the beginning, that soldiers do not need to obey unlawful orders. Most of the worst abuses we’ve seen out of soldiers occur when this happens.

To the specific issue, while I’ve gotten my jab, it’s really telling that the military is expelling soldiers for not getting the jab just as the new variants of COVID aren’t, by Dr. Fauci’s own admission, very effective. You’ve got a group of young people who won’t get seriously hurt by the diisease, and we’re getting rid of a lot of the best and brightest because they won’t take an ineffective vaccine? Really?

This can be dangerous, really, as it is correct that these are the guys who have succumbed least to their K-12 indoctrination. That does leave an armed forces that I’d guess would be much more willing to attack their fellow Americans.

  14. Blog posts that do not highlight the percentage that are vaccinated magnify the minority and give outliers the mistaken sense that they are in the majority.

Try this: 97% of troops vaccinated.

  15. If vaccinated equaled combat ready, that would be one thing. But vaccinated doesn’t confer immunity, doesn’t stop the spread, and may lead to serious side effects. Vaccinated in this context does not equal combat ready, it equals virtue signaled, which is an entirely different thing when it comes to the Lesko Brandon administration sending US troops to fire on US citizens (one of the reasons for which we have the Second Amendment).

If they keep kicking out the unvaxx, eventually, 100% of the troops will be vaccinated. Which is fine with me, I don’t care about the ones who willingly follow orders, no matter how obscene. Plenty of those people at Nuremburg, and in Canada facing truckers, and in our police forces retreating from rioters, and in our own law enforcement agencies ginning up false flag operations.

I’m interested in the ones who refused to obey obscene orders, the ones who put their careers at risk to Do The Right Thing. 60,000 of those people are now standing on our side of the line. That’s good news for us. Helps even up the odds when the conflagration comes.

Sure, the military has 1.5 million members but how many of them are admin pogues, REMFs, HR paperpushers and JAG courtroom warriors versus how many are door kickers and trigger pullers who might be sent after us deplorable insurrectionists, bitterly clinging to our guns and Bibles? How many of the door-kickers are even in this country versus stationed in 160 shitholes around the world? What is our military’s true available strength on the ground to conduct operations against Americans, versus its reputation in the minds of politicians and their lackeys in the newsrooms?

The United States Army got kicked out of Afghanistan by a rag-tag bunch of goat herders. Russia and China aren’t impressed. Should I be? Just got 60,000 fewer reasons to be. Good news for me.

  16. JD nails it.

Even if the SHTF, most of the remaining combat ready soldiers, will not fight against U.S. citizens. Even though their oaths of enlistment state they will “defend against all enemies, foreign and domestic”, the moral dilemma will cause many to consider those orders to be unlawful. Of course, this is why the alphabet federal law enforcement agencies, have declared the right as “domestic terrorists”. If the worst does happen, the agents of those groups will not be safe, either,

  17. Buddy just sent me an email off-list. “Sounds like you want America to have a weak military. What are you, a commie? Putin’s puppet?”

My answer: “Depends. Are the troops going to be used in a constitutionally approved manner, to defend the territory of the United States? Then I want the biggest, baddest, meanest Army in the world so enemies cannot defeat it. Are the troops going to be used in an unconstitutional manner to defend the territory of Ukraine; or used in an unconstitutional manner to deprive Americans of liberty and property? Then I want the smallest, dumbest, weakest Army in the world so rag-tag goat herders and ordinary American citizens can defeat it, the better to teach our so-called leaders to get their priorities in line.”

The Founders did not provide for a standing army. Navy, yes; Army, no. They knew the temptation to use the Army domestically was too great to resist. America forgot that lesson. I’m hoping we don’t have to learn it again the hard way. But if we do, I want to be sure my side wins.

  18. JD, why do you keep misrepsenting the number? It is NOT 60,000, it is at least 268,858 service members as of July 13 .

  19. boss, you are as wrong as naive Mitch. The goal is to not have “combat ready” troops but mindless woke drones who, I repeat, will not hesitate to put a bullet through your head at the slightest provocation and with complete impunity and followed up by accolades from their woke superiors. But JD said this much better in his 11:27, although he keeps misrepresenting the number of troops eligible for dismissal in 10:49

  20. You’re getting your wish, JD

GAO report sees U.S. military readiness slipping

“We found that the military services had reported persistently low readiness levels, which they attributed to emerging and continued demands on their forces, reduced force structure and increased frequency and length of deployment,” the authors wrote.”

    > “Get in formation Xoldier!!”
    > “Soon as I finish dilating my front hole, Xir!”
    > “NOW!!!”
    > “I’m reporting you to Brigade Diversity Command”
    > “Sigh…fine, but use Reynolds’ dildo, xer’s has just been overhauled”

  21. Ok, ok, JD, you got me. You were using an old article and a new one just came out, so I got confused. It is actually 268,858 on TOP of 60k. So total is close to 350k, about 17%, if you take into account completely unvaxxed.

  22. jpa,
Perhaps, but having several friends that retired as senior level officers (the lowest of which were colonels) that are still tied into the military, think that it’s more likely that Pedo Pete’s puppet masters, ask the U.N. for a couple of battalions of “peace keepers”. Personally, my money is on ChiCom soldiers.

  23. Boss, BN, alas, as much as it fits, it seems that Pedo Pete was a nick for Natalie, not Pedo Joe. And I agree boss, since US outsourced pretty much everything else, why not defense and sovereignty?

  24. Firing 60,000 soldiers for not getting a vax that does not prevent or prevent spreading a disease is just ol’ Slow Joe investing political capital and reaping a negative return. It’s kind of a hallmark of the Biden administration.
If it wasn’t so unjust I’d suggest Biden put a few of these anti-vaxxer soldados on trial for treason, and hang them with piano wire live, on network TV.

  25. I am feeling puckish today, so I will remind you all that when he was running for prez, Biden promised their would be no vax mandate: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-55193939
Now that the vax is actually available, and has been proven to neither prevent contracting covid nor giving covid to others, Biden has made vaxxing mandatory.
    Enjoy the comedy, conservatives!
When Caligula made his horse a senator, he was making a point of his power of over the Roman senate. Biden has no point, it is all just dementia driven nonsense.
I actually would not be surprised if, at this point, Biden was attacked by a rabbit and he had to beat it off with a canoe paddle.

  26. The funniest thing about the latest Hunter Biden cell phone leaks is Hunter’s rage and meth fueled rants about step mom Jill Biden. He tells his dead brother’s wife (whom Hunter was having an affair with at the time) that “doctor” Jill Biden couldn’t make it as a grad student at an Ivy League university.

  28. UMMP, there is a 22-mile greenway for hiking along the Reedy River between Greenville and Traveler’s Rest SC, called the “Swamp Rabbit Trail”.

It was named as a little good natured poke in the ribs between SC and GA, but none of the degenerates that have moved here from shithole states get the joke.
