The Pioneer Press, apparently knowing (what little is left of) its audience, says:

Now, I don’t pry into other peoples personal healthcare decisions, and I’m pretty merciless to any idiot who tries to yap about mine.

But it’s worth noting that Dr. Jensen, though not vaccinated, appears to have missed zero days of work or campaigning due to Covid.

In the meantime, the people who run this state – Lt. Governor Flanagan and her figurehead, the…uh, somewhat comorbid Tim Walz – have both had Covid and been off the job in the past couple years.

Correlation – especially with three data points – isn’t causation.

But it’s a better correlation than the one data point the PiPress ran with.

  1. Considering that doctors are among the bottommost groups vaccinated, it’s hardly surprising that he isn’t vaccinated. I wonder if folks who follow the research being among the most vaccine-hesitant should concern the general populace?

Nah, that might affect the narrative.

  2. The political reality is that Dr Jensen’s
extreme Covid-19 positions — including going to court to block children from being vaccinated — are relevant in this election.

Jensen lied about how hospitals are paid for Covid-19 patients, or at least tried to be very misleading about it. He lied about how the risks vs benefits of the vaccine made it so he didn’t recommend it for most people, even though that’s not supported by any data. He knows he’s lost all credibility as a doctor, so what do you do? Become a politician.

This is why Jensen is a lousy candidate in this favorable political environment.

  3. nerd, based on my conversations with friends and family (doctors), my experience has been quite the opposite. Regardless of the Dr’s personal stance on jabs, it was either get jabbed or lose your job, so most got jabbed. Now, whether it was saline or experimental juice, I do not know. And speaking of knowing, isn’t publishing one’s vaccination status a breach of HIPPA laws and invasion of personal privacy? JD, can you opine, please?

Oh, and why would any sentient being want to get injected with something that has 9 pages of side-effects, including the mad cow disease: Is the Deadly Neurological Condition Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Linked to COVID-19 Vaccination?

  4. Emery, you moron, you are lyingist liar that’s ever lied and you’re calling Jensen out?! Get bent!

  5. The boosted are the ones getting the wuhan flu most. Yay boosters.

And they are killing people too. We need more Jensens, and way less Faucis.

  6. Considering that doctors are among the bottommost groups vaccinated

Interesting stat that I have trouble believing. The few times I have interacted with the MN medical system and personnel therein, I have been completely and utterly disappointed at how bought and sold they were to the CDC’s Kung flu narrative.

AMA survey shows over 96% of doctors fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Behold, the man of science and reason. Jensen is clearly an outlier regarding his vaccine theories. Instead of playing offense in a highly favorable political environment, Jensen is playing defense about his extreme Covid-19 positions. This was so predictable. Wait til suburban moms learn that he sued to prevent children from getting vaccinated.

  8. AMA survey shows 96% of doctors CLAIMED TO BE fully vaccinated.

Do you really believe Spain is the only place where false vaccinations occurred? Seriously?

  9. JD: Trump has some election lies to sell you as well. Say — didn’t Jensen promise to audit the MN 2020 election? Easy to see why you’re all in…

  10. No American politician, actor, sports figure, entertainer, or doctor would have falsified her vaccination status.

Nobody in the entire world would do it. Except Spain. They’re the only ones.

And the 2020 election was the cleanest, most secure election ever.

  11. JD,
Yes, elections are the most secure elections ever, except when the DemoCommies lose. Both of those jack weeds Bennie Thompson and Jamie Raskin wouldn’t accept Trump as POTUS and made motions to impeach him before he even took office!

  12. When you consider who is and who is not a “covid extremist,” consider that MN governor Tim Walz locked down the state of Minnesota in May of 2020 because he believed that, lockdown or no lockdown, there would be 70,000 Minnesotans dead from covid by the end of july, 2020.
In fact, two years after Walz’s lockdown, covid has killed a bit more than 16,000 Minnesotans. The average age of the deceased was higher than average lifespan of a Minnesotan.
    “Extremist” indeed.

  13. More than that, MP, Walz suspended the Constitution to do it.

    No religious worship.
    No political assemblies.
    No unauthorized travel.
Wages and profits were taken when businesses were indefinitely closed without compensation.

Nobody has ever done that to an entire state at any time in American history: not during the Whisky Rebellion, not during the Civil War, not when Japanese were interned, not ever.

Done without a hint of an apology. And he’d do it again. Because SCIENCE.

  14. Walz knows that he screwed up. Failure knows no father, and Walz said that HE did not lock Minnesota down, COVID locked Minnesota down.
The buck stops . . . somewhere, anywhere, but at Tim Walz’s desk.

  15. Jensen has made Covid-19 the centerpiece of his campaign. He’s incapable of not talking about it. That’s why he’s a bad candidate. All the business oriented GOPers know this is a real gamble. At least the MN GOP was fully informed when they passed on Kendall Qualls.

  16. If Dr. Jensen is making a big deal about Covid is has to, in my opinion, relate to the perceived weakness of Gov. Walz on his management of the pandemic. Voters can decide based on the outcome of the period from 2020 to now. Those who suffered economic hardship, had loved ones who decompensated with alcohol and drug abuse, got tired of the degree of control held by Education Minnesota over the politicians and the abysmal failures of the public schools, the surrender of law enforcement to thuggery and left wing terrorism, well they just might want a change in leadership.
By the way, Jensen didn’t lie about hospital reimbursement for Covid. It’s been a fact of life in medicine even before I stopped working a hospital practice 12 years ago that medical records technicians handed doctors a cheat sheet on how to code diagnoses so that the hospital would maximize its payments. Nothing illegal about that. Just common sense. And reimbursement for a diagnosis including Covid brought more, not fewer, dollars into the hospitals’ coffers.

  17. The failure of the MN covid response, the failure of leadership during the George Floyd riots . . .
But by all means, Minnesotans, give Walz a slap on the back and put him back in office for another four years!
Maybe he’ll rename the state ‘waukakota’ or whatever the local native american charlatans have convinced him is the state’s real name.
Maybe some midnight basketball to counter gang violence? Take that, crips and bloods! More money for pride month, yep, that’s what Minnesotans want.

  19. Ooooh… do I detect some PO’dness in MP’s posts on the past couple of threads? Wow… things must REALLY be getting bad. MP is usually an exercise in calmness and restraint.

  20. MP.
Most of those deaths were at nursing homes, too. Low information Emery doesn’t care about the murders committed by governors in DemoCommie states. Emery is quite happy to let the government run his pathetic loser life.

  21. boss, how is it even known much less believed that the various leaders of the DemoCommies even took the jab? I mean, instead of something saline.

  22. Justin Trudeau, fully vaxxed and boosted, has contracted covid for the second time this year, and we are only half way through 2022.

  23. I have no facts to the contrary but I doubt that Trudeau’s first bout of Kung flu was anything more than a ruse to get him outta town during the trucker protests.

I also doubt he was vaxxed but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was boosted with whatever drugs would make him a compliant puppet.

  24. MP, watch the video of Lil’ Castro and his wife getting jabbed – they can’t even act when getting stabbed with a retractable needle.

  25. But you already knew this…

A survey has found that people who did not get the vaccine had a lower rate of suffering severe COVID-19 amid the pandemic.

  26. and this:

(Reuters) -Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine may pose a higher risk of heart inflammation in some age groups than Pfizer-BioNTech’s shot, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Tuesday, citing recent data.

  27. “Justin Bieber offers an update on his facial paralysis”

“Bieber revealed last week that he’s been diagnosed with the rare neurological syndrome, which is caused by the same virus that causes chicken pox and shingles.”

But *definitely not* an experimental bug juice lmao. Oh, wait! It gets better!

“Justin Bieber was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome earlier this week, while wife Hailey suffered from a mini-stroke back in March”

< 35 year old, healthy people keeling over with blood clots, heart attacks, strokes and neurological diseases…it's shingles….yeah, that's it, shingles!

  28. bn, to be fair, Bieber’s affliction could be attributed to monkeypox, but his wife’s mini-stroke could be a result of the jab.

  29. Haven’t seen any notice regarding monkeypox, jpa. I would have thought they’d have jumped on it right away.

  30. I can’t speak to Jensen as a candidate, but it’s worth noting that when my ten year old went in, the NP or nurse at Mayo didn’t put up a fuss when we politely declined. More or less, the data I’ve seen indicate that the vaccines don’t work well for the current variant. OK, I’m going to accept risks for him based on that, when he likely wouldn’t suffer badly from the disease itself?
