A Conversation About Guns

Senator Ron Latz went to Harvard. Did you know that?

Anyway – here he is, talking about the new “public safety” / gun grab bill.

Well, sort of:

Dear Democrats: it’s your duty to run on this, this fall. Every candidate, every race.

Seriously: Republicans, statewide: somebody needs to put this on signs, buttons and t-shirts. The good guys and gals need to hammer every Democrat with this, every appearance, every race, between now and November.

  1. In a manner of speaking, Latz is right. Overbearing government does have something to fear from law abiding gun owners who don’t want government to have records of what guns they own. Guys going door to door to confiscate guns, and then people, want to get home safe just as much as the rest of us.

One would figure that, being of Jewish heritage, Latz might have a pretty good idea why this is a feature, not a bug, of our system, but apparently not.

  2. Alas, Latz have not learned anything from his Jewish heritage but from white privilege of going to Madison and then Harvard. It also does not look like he worked a day in his life. The Jewish part of him is asleep and not part of his consciousness. Alas, like many other Jews afflicted with a libturd disease.

  3. ^ Being a leftist seems to be more powerful that simply being (of) Jewish (heritage).

As they’ve shown again and again leftists almost never understand nor expect the consequences of their actions. Moreover, they operate as if the set of conditions that is the reason for their power now is not going to change (remember how Hispanics were going to be a locked-in constituency for, well, ever?).

    Latz is a fool.

  4. I’m surprised by the lack of nuance from gun-grabber, to think that just because someone opposes gun control means they have an arsenal in their basement. Some people can argue in favor of others’ rights without being personally invested. I don’t smoke, but during my time in the People’s Republic of MN, I felt the anti-smoking laws were a bit “Soviet.”

Who am I kidding? I’m not surprised.

  5. Also worth noting that leftists aren’t afraid to grab themselves a gun (legally?) and head on over to the residence of a Supreme Court justice with the intent of killing him. Hey, maybe hurt or kill the family too – you know, pour encourager les autres (thanks, JD).

But the government should be worried about old why guys in Wadena who might own an AR-15.

  6. jdm, it seems you no longer need to close the tag, they finally fixed that feature – must have been wreaking havoc with their moderation.

  7. It’s a trivial fix for WordPress, jpa, and my 1:50 comment did actually close it. I was curious if it would matter.
