Joe Doakes from Como Park emails:

If taking a selfie in the Capitol is insurrection and attempted assassination of Congress, what is giving The Deadliest Virus Every Known to members of Congress, their staff members and people in the White House?

Why aren’t Texas Democrats held in solitary confinement until their treason trials?

Joe Doakes

Because the Texas Democrats don’t allow the Democrats, nationally, to deflect away from their support for the costliest riots in US history?

  1. Most of the undocumented Capital tourists have been charged with trespassing. A few have been charged under 18 U.S. Code § 1505 (Obstruction of proceedings before departments, agencies, and committees); one was coerced into pleading guilty to it.

The fleebagging TX super spreaders are clearly violating the statute as well, but for the fact that 1505 doesn’t cover state proceedings.

However, given the flexibility leftist reprobates have imbued into the law when it suits their purposes, for impeachment counts by example, I wonder if at some point, a more responsibly managed DOJ mightn’t find room to charge the leftist degenerates in federal office now with aiding and abetting in the obstruction of a state’s legislative proceedings.

Also, given that the fleebaggers have exposed the VP and infected members of the federal government with a DeAdLy ViRus, I can see a clear path towards a Domestic Terrorist indictment at some future time.

  2. My comment is being held in solitary confinement. It demands to speak with it’s lawyer.

  3. A group of unmasked Republican staffers are playing beer pong (but with cups of water) in the halls of Rayburn House Office Building. Presumably their need to demonstrate the exercise of “freedoms” is stronger than their sense of responsibility to justify taxpayer-funded salaries
The party of Dean Wormer has found its Niedermeyer.

  4. The party of personal responsibility takes no responsibility for its people.

To those of us who’ve seen armed mobs enter our Capitol buildings twice in the same 12-month span (Lansing and Washington), it’s clear that only one side is doing that.

  5. I saw that JD. First thought was “either a complete nut case, or a Somali father”.

The fact that he was turned loose without bail made me lean towards the latter, but looks like I was wrong. In the current year, the only things that are sure to get you held without bail, are:

    A) Any perceived offense committed by a White person to which black pipul object.
    B) Touring the Capital without a ticket.

  6. The party of personal responsibility takes no responsibility for its people.

    Emphasis on personal.

To those of us who’ve seen armed mobs

In the case of the U.S. Capitol, the only discharge of a firearm was by an unnamed Capitol police officer. At an unarmed woman.

In the case of Lansing, any of the armed mob discharge their firearms? Which they’re allowed to have inside the Capitol?

Seems like the “mob” actually armed with something more lethal than flags were pretty responsible with their weapons….

  7. The party of personal responsibility takes no responsibility for its people

The party of personal irresponsibility has shown by example that being responsible is not rewarded and, indeed, even punished. You should be proud of yourself.

  8. Not to mention the tens of thousands of illegals who are unvaxxed and untested crossing the border.

PS: stop reading the trolls; I have. Makes it a much better place.

  9. Open Source Avador squeeked:

Like I said. Emery/Hayduke/Weiner/Avador is the most shameless liar and cheat ever to grace these comments.

Until just recently, it was 100% legal to carry a firearm into the Michigan Capital. No crime was committed.

The only people who ever carried arms into the US Capital were leftist domestic terrorists who detonated a bomb in there in 1971, and federal LEO’s, one of whom shot an unarmed, female veteran in 2021.

One of the founders of first group, Tom Hayden, was elected in California to the US House of Reps…by the reprobate party.

The perpetrator of the second event was let off scott free, and had his identity shielded, by a reprobate party administration.

Go be an idiot somewhere else, Weiner.

  10. Not reading it, but by responses I am guessing trollbot is saying the Jan 6th protesters were armed?

Pure lie, no weapons at all, zero weapons charges. Or we would have heard about it from the mediots.

Proof of weapons troll, or Mitch will ban you.

J/K, Mitch loves having his blog crapped on.

  11. Bad news, Kinlaw. There’s photographic and video evidence that the Four Hour Insurrectionists had dangerous weapons. See that guy with the flag? That’s a flagpole right there. You could poke someone’s eye out with it.

And Grandma, carrying her cup of coffee? Do you know how hot that stuff is? She could scar someone for life – ask McDonalds, it cost them a fortune. And what do you think buffalo use those horns on their heads for, huh? That’s right, goring Senators. Happens all the time back Home On The Range.

Plus, and I know this will shock some of the LGBTQ+ readers, there were cis-men in the Capitol and every one of them was naturally equipped with a weapon he could have used to RAPE the Congresswoman from New York. She was terrified it might happen. She said so.

And don’t even get me started on all the fire extinghishers just sitting there waiting for somebody to grab them and beat more cops to death. That’s the leading cause of death among Capitol Police Officers. Why the Fire Marshall lets it happen is beyond me – probably a Deep State mole for Trump.

  12. […] naturally equipped with a weapon he could have used to RAPE the Congresswoman from New York were she even in the building at the time.

  13. The past was erased, the erasure was forgotten, the lie became the truth ~ George Orwell, 1984.

The most remarkable aspect to me is the concept the GOP was against a bipartisan commission. They have made their own assertions concerning Jan 6, such as antifa infiltrators etc, yet the object to a commission to present their case. They all know some of them were in on it, along with members of the previous White House administration seen in the midst of the assault on video.

Republican-controlled House committees conducted six investigations into the 2012 Benghazi attack. Yet only two of their members are currently willing to investigate January 6.

Why do they care so passionately about an attack on an American embassy, but not one on the American Capitol itself?

And so, the mentally disturbed “Emery” reminds us that he was wrong about the Brexit vote, wrong about the economic effects of Brexit, wrong about Hillary winning over Trump by “landslide” in 2016, and wrong about the “Russian Collusion” hoax, which he still believes found evidence of Trump colluding with Putin to steal the 2016 election.

  15. ^ Sounds stale. Why don’t you send that back up to rewrite— have them punch it up a bit.

Who else is looking forward to reruns of McCarthy and McConnell blaming Trump on video?

“There’s no question — none — that President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day.

The people who stormed this building believed they were acting on the wishes and instructions of their president, and having that belief was a foreseeable consequence of the growing crescendo of false statements, conspiracy theories and reckless hyperbole which the defeated president kept shouting into the largest megaphone on planet Earth.” ~ Mitch McConnell

  16. Are McCarthy and McConnell “disturbed” as well?

“The president bears responsibility for Wednesday’s attack on Congress by mob rioters,” McCarthy said on the House floor. “He should have immediately denounced the mob when he saw what was unfolding. These facts require immediate action by President Trump.”

“Some say the riots were caused by antifa. There is absolutely no evidence of that,” McCarthy said. “Conservatives should be the first to say so.”

  17. Those people appear to be opportunistic politicians doing damage control.
You, Emery, are a disturbed person and that is plain to see. Beside the “wrong about most everything”, which seems to be a personal goal of yours.
That you quote and believe Republican leaders when convenient just makes you opportunistic as well.
“Trump supporters who laid siege to the Capitol and killed at least one police officer”
This seems to be an article that was written before any investigation occurred, with comments from politicians spoken before any investigation occurred.
    Could you be less persuasive?

  18. On this blog, “Emery” is mostly known for his failed political predictions, his plagiarism (cut-n-pasting comments from other blogs as his own comments here), inventing quotes from other SITD commentators, believing in conspiracy theories, and having a textbook case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. He is widely believed to be trolling SITD to flood the comment section with anti-republican and especially anti-Trump comments so that searches that return links to SITD will always be polluted with his anti-Trump commentary.
