Long Term Effects

We’ve talked about orders of effect.  The first order effect of a railroaded guilty verdict is X but what are the second-order and third-order and further order effects?

Sarah Hoyt has an insightful column up: “Sparing the Rod.

Joe Doakes

I don’t think our society has any idea of the long-term effects of a massive loss of faith in law enforcement, the judiciary, the media and the rest of the institutuions.

  1. If you think Mohamed Noor was a bottom of the barrel cop candidate let me tell you about a high school drop out and failed fast food worker named Derek Chauvin.

  2. An anal swab smeared: “If you think Mohamed Noor was a bottom of the barrel cop candidate let me tell you about a high school drop out and failed fast food worker named Derek Chauvin.”

If you think you’ve seen something swabbie, consider the gems you’ll be calling for help after Pedo Joe’s DOJ cleans house.

How gormless would a fellow have to be to take a job where he’s likely to be killed every day, everyone hates him, his bosses want him fired, the feds are constantly looking for an excuse to put him in prison and his pay gets cut every year?

Say, come to think of it swabbie, I bet they’ve got a place for you!

  3. “railroaded”

When things don’t go the way Mitch foresaw, he likes to say he didn’t actually makes any predictions… Here’s a piece of mensa Mitch analysis on GF that ged pretty poorly:  http://www.shotinthedark.info/wp/?p=74331

“But given that it appears to this non-lawyer that charging Chauvin with Second Degree murder was a) done to placate the crowd and b) find charges for the other three officers and c) looks like a very long shot, I have to wonder if they aren’t banking on, in effect, making a political statement and not bothering with justice.”

So were they bothering with justice Mitch?  Now that all is said and done did they make an effort there on their case ya think?

  4. Right, Tom Swift… You absolutely agree with me in my assessment of cops. “Gormless”

Send Mitch his 50 that I won off you, dumbshit.

  5. http://www.shotinthedark.info/wp/?p=74331&cpage=1#comment-203930

“I’ll take your bet, Kraphammer. Your $50 goes to the Virginia Citizens Defense League when this case flops. My $50 goes to whatever degenerate cause you fancy if the lynching is successful. We send a money order (you probably bank at a check cash service) to Berg (email him for an address) for disbursement and verification of payment. Put up, you wretched big mouth.”

  6. An anal swab demanded: “Send Mitch his 50 that I won off you, dumbshit.”

“Tom swift” just emailed me, swabbie. He says he wants to deliver cash in person. Meet him at Smoke in the Pit BBQ on Chicago Ave, tonight.

He says he loves that place; great sauce. Says he’ll be there between 8:30 and 9:00pm. Just hang around until he gets there.

  7. “Man sauce”? WTF?

You are quite obsessed with faggotry, which, come to think of it, is quite appropriate for an anal swab.

  8. Lol. Be sure and tell him that when you meet him tonight, swabbie. I’m sure he’ll find it very amusing.

  9. The woke mob isn’t quite done, JD.

Now that they’ve strung Chauvin up, it’s time to whip his “accomplices”, which is exactly what your newspaper of record is calling the other two coppers.

Once they’ve been dealt with, I’m sure the Marxist/black supremacist BLM will be satisfied, the White leftist terrorists will retreat back to the West Coast, and it will be safe for decent, civilized families to take their kids to city parks again.

After all, Pedo Joe and Kameltoe have promised to be Unifiers. We’re all gonna live as brothers and sisters….it’s gonna be swell.

  10. I’m sure that’s where Tom Swift gets his man sauce.

JFC, put some effort into it.

    What is this, junior high?

  11. Jennifer Levitz, Erin Ailworth and Tawnell D. Hobbes writing in The Wall Street Journal reported on June 21, 2020 that Derek Chauvin graduated from Park High in Cottage Grove in 1994.

Of course, they might be mistaken, or lying, or just plain stupid. Perhaps they all went to William Mitchell?

  12. Whenever he brings faggotry into the thread, its a breddy good bet swabbie is having himself a vigerous wank, Mitch. It calms him down.

  13. Meanwhile, down at Pedo Joe’s wild west show:

“Two Democrat senators on Wednesday called on President Joe Biden to reimburse their state for sending National Guard personnel to the border to help deal with the immigration crisis.

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey, a Republican, announced this week he is sending up to 250 Guardsmen to the border to deal with the surge in illegal immigrants attempting and successfully crossing into the United States. That will cost some $25 million.

“The situation in our border communities is just as bad—if not worse—than the coverage we’ve been seeing,” Ducey told a press conference. “It’s become evidently clear that Arizona needs the National Guard, and the White House is aware of that. Yet, to this day, there has been no action from this administration, and it doesn’t look like they are going to act any time soon. If this administration isn’t going to do anything, then we will.”

Sens. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Ariz.) and Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) said they back the deployment in a letter to Biden.”

    Bwaaahahahahaha. What a shitshow.

  14. Mitch,
That’s the problem, leftists are frozen in the mindset of their first radicalization. They can’t get past it, adult interactions present an ever receding doorway they never pass through. Although in fairness to paddyboy/peev he’s actually making an effort(though not always successfully) to converse in an adult manner.
That point of first radicalization is profoundly inhibiting; witness the 20 somethings who collapse like 7-yr olds when you utter a verboten word. It also explains the utter lack of imagination evident among the young and woke.

  15. I’m one who believes that Derek Chauvin belongs in jail, but the process that’s getting there just scares the snot out of me–politicians prejudging the trial and corrupting the jury, pathologists arguing that a lethal dose of drugs wasn’t likely lethal, an office with 130 lawyers assembling a “dream team” to go after one guy, and finally a defense lawyer who seems to have been asleep most of the time.

Like it or not, as we see protests of the death of a girl who was trying to kill someone with a butcher knife when she was shot, we’re going to start pushing any sane person away from police work, and that leaves guys that will make ?Chauvin and Noor look like choirboys in comparison. There is a point where we need to understand that apprehending criminals is not always going to look good on video, and we’re definitely not there.

  16. ^ Joe: WSJ used “graduated” very, very forgivingly in that story, and its been clarified in other reporting pieces. He’s got a GED from P-CG, such that he left school before graduating and completed HS requirements after.

  17. Everyone should go read the comments to @lawyercrump squeek asserting that 16 year old thug was unarmed. He’s getting absolutely reKt.

White people are waking up; even those leftists that are not too far gone see what’s happening. The reprobates pogrom is beginning to blow up in their faces.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

  18. My, my…just look at 90 IQ swabbie go. Mocking someone for lack of education.

    LMFAO

  19. If you think Mohamed Noor was a bottom of the barrel cop candidate let me tell you about a high school drop out and failed fast food worker named Derek Chauvin.

Maybe so, but you have to wonder why Sharon Sayles Belton, the city’s black woman mayor, hired him?

You also have to wonder why Mayors R. T. Rybak, Betsy Hodges and Jacob Frey, all progressive DFLr’s with a majority of DFLr’s on the council kept him on?

Come to think of it, why did Mayors Sharon Sayles Belton, R. T. Rybak, Betsy Hodges and Jacob Frey, all progressive DFLr’s with a majority of DFLr’s on the council, sign a labor agreement with the police union that allowed Derek Chauvin to remain on the force?

    Inquiring minds want to know.

  20. Liberals object to police officers who aren’t very smart (Chauvin), object to police officers who are very smart (Robert Jordan, New London, Connecticut), and some of our more enlightened Democrat leaders object to having police officers at all (Ilhan Omar).

In the olden days, philosophers wondered “Who watches the watchers?” Nowadays, we don’t need no stinking watchers.

  21. A guy can always count on Charles Blow for a quote when he needs one to hammer home a point.

    Charles M. Blow
With the Chauvin Verdict, One Battle Is Won. The War Continues.
The fight for equality doesn’t end after a single conviction.

    Emphasis mine.

See, for woke blax, it’s not a matter of justice, it’s sending Whitey to prison. “Reimagining policing” means dreaming of hundreds of White cops behind bars for the crime of, well fighting crime.

Midwits like Blow refuse to “reimagine” what Chicago, NY, Baltimore…any large city will look like when there are no cops. It’s not Whitey that will pay the price, it’s Blow’s people.

Blow, like Patrice Khan-Cullors and the rest of the black supremacists think they’ll be safe because they live in White neighborhoods…can they really believe those neighbors will shield them?

If they do, they’re in for a real awakening.

  22. If you get down to Smoke in the Pit, be sure to say hi to my friend Dwight, the owner. It took more than two years of bureaucratic sludge with the City of Minneapolis to even be able to open his dream BBQ shack, and then ongoing years of regulations and interference while aimed at creating a “better” world. He played his part, no doubt thinking that at least the City would help protect his business. Yeah, he’s still waiting for all the government he paid for.

  23. Jesse Jackson has a home on the S. side of Chicago…not sure if he still lives there, but he did for a long time.

It’s a huge house, of course, and it’s surrounded by 12′ tall wrought iron fencing. The property is lit by high wattage spot lights all around.

Maybe when the police are disbanded and sent to prison he will take down all that defensive infrastructure…invite the folks to come up on the porch and chat.

  24. Here’s Pedo Joe’s statement regarding the heroic actions of a Cincinnati OH cop who save the life of a girl, who was about to be gutted by a 200 lb, black female thug:

“We’re thinking of her friends and family in the communities that are hurting and grieving her loss. We know that police violence disproportionately impacts Black and Latino people in communities and that Black women and girls, like Black men and boys, experience higher rates of police violence. We also know that there are particular vulnerabilities that children in foster care, like Ma’Khia, face.”

Pedo Joe hasn’t made a statement regarding Nyaira Givens, who was stabbed to death by yet another 13 year old black female thug. Gonna be a tough call because there was no police violence…just blacks killing blacks.

  25. If you think Mohamed Noor was a bottom of the barrel cop candidate let me tell you about a high school drop out and failed fast food worker named Derek Chauvin.

Chauvin had to pass the same POST standards as every other police officer in the entire state of MN. If you’re trying to say he was dumb and incompetent, then you’re saying every other police officer in the state is equally dumb and incompetent.

  26. Lol, I think this is what kraphead does for fun.

I have a free moment at work and so I am here for a few, my earlier posts were before work.

Hey kraphead, you would just not believe how rewarding it is to have a real life.

  27. “If you think Noir was the bottom of the barrel……”. I’ll raise you one cop trying to restrain a man resisting arrest and high on drugs by a cop indiscriminately shooting a woman in her nightgown who had walked over to the police car to talk to them. And I believe she thought someone was being raped or attacked -the reason for the call. And by the way, that would have made the suspect about a 99% chance of being a male….
