Tipping Point

As an American, I not only have no innate concept of “aristocracy” as a natural part of the social order, but I think it’s an anachronism at best.

As a conservative, I can see the value to a culture with a history of monarchy keeping some vestigial, ceremonial, constitutionally-innocuous version of a monarchy around. Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Spain and others use their monarchies sort of like cultural museums, means of transmitting their nations pasts to their presents and futures.

Which is why Big Left has always wanted to tear monarchies down.

Speaking of Big Left’s attempts to destroy traditions like the monarchy: could someone make these two hamsters go away?

  1. Meghan Markle is a marvelous example of naked ambition coupled with unmatched ruthlessness – look for her at a ballot box in the near(2022) future, maybe for Gov of California. Now that Kamala Harris has broke the ho’s glass ceiling the sky is the limit for Meghan.

  2. Meghan’s major complaint has the flavor of “My mother-in-law doesn’t like me, boo hoo.” Oh yeah, like no husband ever heard that one before.

If she’d talked about how hard it was to break into a close-knit family; how challenging for an American to understand the traditions and restrictions of being part of the Royal Family; how exhausting it is to be always playing a role, never having any down time; I might have had some sympathy. But no, she didn’t know when to quit, she just had to throw the race card. Next thing, we’ll be hearing about a loop on the rope of the garage door where they keep the Rolls Royce. RACISSSSSS

It kills me that rich, powerful, successful Black women have to go searching for something, anything, to make them the victims of racism. Oprah had to dredge up a shopkeeper in Switzerland who didn’t want her pawing the merchandise, Michelle Obama had to invent somebody at Target asking her to reach an item from the top shelf, and now Meghan is shattered because somebody speculated about her unborn baby. Yep, exactly the same as old Rosa Parks on the bus, victims all around. You’re all Special.

  3. Mitch, you’ve just insulted millions of hard working hamsters by comparing them to the Royal Twits.

  4. Oh, we are working our way towards an aristocracy, alright.
You sometimes hear that the problem with social class in the US is that it has become a meritocracy, and some elements of becoming a member of the elite are essentially inherited — having parents who can afford to send you to the right schools, parents who stay married and teach their children that social success is important, etc. Our meritocrats are better than the rest of us. They are intelligent, well educated, sober, hard working, and disciplined.
But how much of this merit does Chelsea Clinton have? How about any of the kids involved in the college gate scandal?
Merit is required for the founding members of an aristocracy, not their descendants.

  5. At least this has stopped people talking about the Khardashians for a few minutes.

  6. “Khardashians”? Who tf is that?

    *Duck Duck Go search….*

LMAO!…Of course! Evidently PotAto HeAD’s gossip circle gets their news of the day from “TMZ.com” …makes perfect sense.
    🤣🤣🤣🤣

  7. jpa, some of the funniest shit that has appeared in these comment threads is when PotAto HeAD makes an off-the-cuff remark he thinks is witty, but really gives us a look at the vapid crap floating around in his empty head.

And let me tell you something; this is who the guy is irl. You can’t just turn this kind of stupid on and off like a switch. PotAto HeAD is that one guy in the group who never gets the inside joke, because he IS the inside joke.

What a fucking train wreck his life must be! LMAO!

  8. Too bad Oprah didn’t ask Meghan what hand bag she uses to carry Harry’s balls in…
