The Fraud Machine

I know, I know – there is no voter fraud.

All those phony registrations that election integrity groups uncovered between 2009 today? Just random demographic fuzz.

Nine people registred in a single small-town laundromat? What are you – paranoid?

Secretary of State Simon defying three court orders to turn over dox related to irregularities? Nah, nothing to see here.

It’s downright unpatriotic to question the election system.

Perish the thought:

A top Democratic operative says voter fraud, especially with mail-in ballots, is no myth. And he knows this because he’s been doing it, on a grand scale, for decades.

Mail-in ballots have become the latest flashpoint in the 2020 elections. While President Trump and the GOP warn of widespread manipulation of the absentee vote that will swell with COVID polling restrictions, many Democrats and their media allies have dismissed such concerns as unfounded.

But the political insider, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he fears prosecution, said fraud is more the rule than the exception. His dirty work has taken him through the weeds of municipal and federal elections in Paterson, Atlantic City, Camden, Newark, Hoboken and Hudson County and his fingerprints can be found in local legislative, mayoral and congressional races across the Garden State. Some of the biggest names and highest office holders in New Jersey have benefited from his tricks, according to campaign records The Post reviewed.

I know – anonymous source, NYPost, yadda yadda.

But at some point, even the undecided have to decide there’s “smoke”, here…

  1. The goal of the Democrats is obvious. What they want is to have elections decided by lawyers and the courts. The idea is that on election day ahuge mass of balltots will be compiled, and the lawyers and the judges will examine them and, some days or weeks later, announce a winner.
The first step to this we have already seen, the narrative that we really won’t find out the winner of the 2020 prez election on election night. This narrative is duly repeated by the morons in the MSM.
A party that is terrified of populism has no interest in democracy. Democracy is just another word for populism.

  2. It may be from an anonymous source, but, unlike the NY Slimes, my experience is that the Post does a much more thorough job of vetting their stories. The reporter that broke the story, was on Fox news this morning. To hos credit, the first question that Brian Kilmeade asked him was “how can you be sure that this person is on the level”? The reporter said that the person not only had detailed information, the person has been in office long enough to know. As we have seen many times over the years, many postal carriers don’t possess the highest integrity in that they dump mail in dumpsters other places, other than the mailboxes that they are supposed to go to. This person said that they would use anti GOP hating mail carriers, that had routes in heavily GOP neighborhoods and knowing that those ballots would be for GOP candidates, would dump ballots in the trash. Going further, the person talked about going door to door and telling people that they were a county official and that they would make sure that their ballots got delivered, saying that it was surprisingly easy to get people to give them the completed ballots, especially among the elderly. Also discussed, was something that we saw alleged up in Crow Wing county during the 2012 election, was the illegal practice of health care personnel and other operatives “helping” elderly people fill out their ballots, which the reporter also points out is considered elder abuse. Of course, the “investigation” by the county, yielded a “nothing to see here” conclusion.

  3. I remember pointing out back in 2000 that since Gore’s campaign manager was a “Daley”, I wasn’t going to assume that his votes were honest, either.

  4. Asked by a federal judge in Pittsburgh to lay out its evidence of how mail-in balloting can “sow chaos” in an election and foster an environment of voter fraud, Donald Trump’s presidential campaign filed more than 500 pages of documents last week that it claims show votes are at risk of being diluted by Democratic policies.

But the filing — obtained this weekend by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette — does not include specific evidence that suggests rampant and widespread fraud encouraged by a flawed and insecure mail-in system.
    https://www.post-gazette.com/news/crime-courts/2020/08/23/Trump-campaign-files-its-evidence-in-mail-voting-suit/stories/202008220065

“PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP’S campaign, ordered by a federal court judge in Pennsylvania to back up its claims of fraud in the state’s vote-by-mail system, has documented only a handful of cases of election fraud in recent years — none of which involved mail-in ballots. The revelation, which came in the form of a partially redacted 524-page document produced by the Trump campaign last week, undermines the claim by Trump team operatives that mail-in ballot fraud is a grave risk to Pennsylvania voters.“

  5. “does not include specific evidence”

Translation; since we weren’t checking voter rolls and other things for evidence of vote fraud, we didn’t find what we were not looking for, and hence we declare there is no problem.

By the same logic, we can cut heart disease deaths to zero by refusing to care for heart patients and do autopsies, and drunken driving deaths can be eliminated if we don’t do blood tests on corpses found after car crashes.

  6. Major League Baseball insisted for years that it did not have a steroid problem; mainly because they didn’t test for it. Once they agreed to start testing for PEDs, though…

  7. Gosh, Emery, your source proves that…..Democrats will sue to stop investigations into vote fraud. Gosh, why might that be? Maybe….because they have something to hide?

Ignore the fact that many precincts lately have had more voters than adult residents, nothing to see here…..and that amazingly, those precincts/counties tend to vote for Democrats. Gosh, qui bono anyone?

  8. ^^ Okay Sherlock — why doesn’t Trump’s DOJ should charge someone with a crime? Do you suppose evidence might be holding them back?

  9. Gosh, Emery, do you think it might have something to do with jurisdiction, and Democratic politicians suing to prevent the records from being reviewed?

  10. Funny how investigation after investigation, whether done by the right or left, finds NO system, large scale fraud. Even the case in NJ was about (vastly) incorrectly submitted ballots, not people voting twice, or dead people or anything like it, certainly not intentional misuse/abuse of the system. Yet, you continue your mythology with anecdote because the facts don’t support your position.

As Emery pointed out, the Trump campaign, when asked to actually provide facts and proof, failed. Just like this is a fail.

  11. And seriously Mitch, the NY Post, why not quote the National Enquirer? Maybe a martian coordinated the whole thing. Ever think you’re being played, or maybe, just maybe, ever think you don’t care about being played, you just want confirmation of what you believe to be true, so it must be.

  12. And seriously Mitch, the NY Post, why not quote the National Enquirer?

Setting aside that this is a “Appeal To Authority” logical fallacy, wasn’t the Enquirer the one that broke the story John Edwards’ fathering a child out wedlock with his videgrapher?

  13. why doesn’t Trump’s DOJ should charge someone

State election systems are the province of state election officials.

Who enforce state election laws. Written by state election officials.

  14. Pad,

You are aware that Secretary of State Simon is defying three court orders to release information related to the systematic registration fraud discovered by the MN Voters Alliance since 2012.

You are aware of this, right?

  15. the NY Post, why not quote the National Enquirer

As Ian correctly pointed out, that’s an appeal to authority. A logical fallacy.

What facts relevant to the argument do they get wrong?

    All else is deflection.

  16. Gosh, Paddyboy, it’s funny how investigation after investigation is stymied by liberals who file lawsuit after lawsuit trying to stymie the collection of evidence. Why is that?

And if you want to talk about journalistic outlets with a lack of credibility, what about “mostly peaceful” CNN with a background of burning vehicles and buildings? Or visit Powerline for a litany of false statements by the “Old Gray Lady” and the “Washington Compost”.
