This Is Today’s #MNDFL

From the Trump rally:

Notice the shrieking harpy sucker-punching the woman. Canny move – any response would have gotten on CNN as “Trump Supporters Attack Woman Of Color!”

And it was smarter still, in that “resistance” “men” would have needed 5-6 to one odds – but only if the boyfriend wasn’t there.

And no, charges will never be filed.

  1. Yesterday while driving to work (on a detour that has been in place for over five months, creating another .5 miles each way of driving – way to help reduce emissions) and I noticed a billboard saying that Minneapolis welcomes everyone.

What occurred to me was that message in a video, with images of the actions of the “resistance” at last weeks rally would be interesting. Contrast the words and actions. Then I realized that it would be an exercise in futility. It would change no ones mind. So, I picked up some trash instead – seemed a lot more productive.

  2. Guys like that boyfriend… walking alone w/ the girlfriend through that crowd… I don’t think the so-called resistance really understands the can of whoop ass they’re opening if someone as fearless as that guy got angry and got together with some of his friends…

Actually, it struck me that at some point, those Trump supporters inside some future rally building might just decide (perhaps plan how) to exit in such a way as to take it to the resistance.

  3. Again, half a million bucks for “security”, where are the police to arrest? Still at the bar with Parker, I assume?

Given the ease with which both sides can obtain weapons to maim and kill, I don’t want it to get to a physical fight, but I do hope we can shame even liberal city police into punishing this kind of thuggery.

That is exactly what the snowflakes want. They want to goad the good guys into reacting, knowing how the media will portray it.

Not to say I don’t support defending oneself, especially against roaming packs of thugs. But be advised – that is their goal.

I’ve heard a lot of compliments for the MPD’s behavior, especially Lt. Kroll and his faction.

Cops can’t be everywhere – we don’t want them everywhere. Stuff happens l

  6. That is exactly what the snowflakes want.

The snowflake leaders perhaps, the fans of the snowflake “team”, yes; the media, absolutely yes, but I don’t think the snowflakes themselves want nor expect it. They’re useful idiots.

It probably makes sense. You, as a snowflake leader, want any reaction, like that Dane or the guy who popped a antifa-ette a year or so ago, to result in shock, surprise, confused sadness and tears and you want those tears to be real if they’re going to be played on the news and eventually go viral.

  7. I agree, I would have loved to sock a few of those whistle blowing protesters I had to wade through but knowing only I would get in trouble, and the fact thats exactly what they wanted I just waded through them with smiles giving the occasional thumbs up, because I honestly think that pisses them off even more. They are beyond unhinged at this point. In comparison to what I saw at the 2008 RNC they are 100X worse and I really do believe that we have a bettter shot of having a violent civil war in this country in the next 10-15 years (As my favorite radio personality, Dennis Prager, has said were already in a non-violent one) than uniting as a country ever again.

Exactly right, Mitch. Look how quickly the WaPo leapt to Nathan Phillips’ defense, maligning an innocent high-school kid.

It’s how the Left pushes for society change that would never be considered by rational people. Beto proposes the mandatory “buy-back” programs, aided by the emotional frenzy-whipping of a media that can’t be bothered to get basic gun terminology right. And why should they? If people in the media knew what they were talking about, or worse, if their readers/viewers did, the lies told in the heat of emotion would be nullified by facts, that, as Ben Shapiro puts it, don’t care about “your feelings.”

When I heard of this incident, I thought of the Rev. Al Sharpton’s “protest” outside Freddie’s Fashion Mart that led to several deaths. The man who perpetrated that atrocity was, like the sucker-punching chanting robot, a useful idiot, whom Sharpton disavowed. If chanting robot is identified and detained by law enforcement (hey, we can dream), the Left and their media allies will disavow her. They will ignore her. Or they’ll dismiss the action by saying both sides do it (saw someone on social media this morning with the gall to try that). Had the recipient of the sucker-punch or the boyfriend been carrying and used it, the incident would be portrayed as something like “MAGA Nazi Murders Peaceful Protesters”. The networks would show the footage, conveniently “edited for time”, to exclude the initial attack. It’s not about truth. It’s about narrative. They’re done it before, and they’ll keep doing it. When they get caught, they hang one of their devotees out to dry, and the media accepts without question that the actions were individual, not precipitated by a group mentality. Meanwhile, for the Right, the Left’s narrative is that atrocities are never committed just by an individual, they reflect a group.

The best approach is to handle these people through legal means, even if the deck is stacked against us. In the meantime, you just ignore the additional attempts at goading, like “if you were a real man” or “whiny Rethuglican has to call the cops on us”. It’s a sign the Left has nothing but name-calling and sucker-punches.

  9. Ian its so funny how the lefties got the vapors for us criticizing Greta Thurnberg (sp?) because teenagers were off limits but they went after the MAGA hat wearing kids hardcore and he didnt even do anything. In fact he did what you are supposed to do in the face of leftist protesters, stand there and smile.

  10. Also I saw a great shirt in line the other day for the rally that I need to get. Trump 2020: Because f*** your feelings (it wasnt edited). Absolute gold.

  11. Couple of thoughts: First, how about legal action against the organizers? You don’t have to even know they are guilty, just file a criminal complaint for “conspiracy, incitement to riot, violation of civil rights” or whatever else you can think of, and name a few (or a lot of) likely parties. Second, DEMAND that every Democrat politician renounce the violence and hatred, and keep at it until you get it. Every time they show up in public, the question should be shouted out.

Good point, POD. The Left conferred onto Thunberg what I’ve heard others call “Absolute Moral Authority”. They took a 16-year-old and made her the personification of the Anthropogenic Climate Change (ACC) movement. That way, if you criticize the movement, or its shaky relationship with the scientific method, it’s characterized as a personal attack on Thunberg. It speaks to the logical emptiness of the arguments of the Left. I reread Thunberg’s recent speech before the U.N., and to borrow a phrase from the old Wendy’s commercial, where’s the beef? Her speech was a scold that simply regurgitated the IPCC’s report and conclusions, a report that has fueled much alarmism and has been twisted to support the “97%” canard.

They did the same thing with Cindy Sheehan after her son was killed in Iraq. She staged her protest outside then-President Bush’s ranch in Crawford, TX. Some of her statements were considered antisemitic. But it didn’t matter, as long as it hurt Bush– For the Left, the ends usually justify the means.

But then something happened: Obama was elected as Bush’s successor. Sheehan protested him in Oslo when he accepted the Nobel Peace Prize for– well, I’m not sure.

Then Sheehan tried to run to unseat Nancy Pelosi. Sheehan stated how the Democrats were the party of slavery. The absolute-moral-authority shine started to come off the darling of the Left. Where is Sheehan now?

Just you watch, POD: Thunberg will make some uncomfortable criticisms of her benefactors, she will lose the implied “Absolute Moral Authority” title, and she will vanish from the news cycle almost overnight.

  13. Mitch, agreed that “stuff happens”, and you don’t want the police to be everywhere, but it’s just….fascinating that when the Mayor asked for a budget that would hire thousands of officers for security, that none of them seem to be around when things go down. Hence I think it’s fair to say “what, precisely, are we paying for here?”

  14. That little mud bug is only trying to polish her resume ahead of a run for public office. Socking wypipul is fast becoming a pre-requisite.
