Surprising Precisely Nobody

College Republican display at the U of M’s annual “Paint the Bridge” party vandalized.

For the fourth year in a row:

The group said their panel, which included text reading, “Donald Trump The Wall,” “Draining the Swamp,” and “America FIRST mentality,” was covered up within a day.

I wonder, sometimes, if the Democrats wonder what they’re messing with, here?

Conservatives on American campuses, after swimming upstream for four years and enduring the kind of abuse they endure, are going to be tougher than mule jerky.

In adult life, when those “kids” go up against the left’s generation of children of feckless entitled privlege, they’re going to slash through them like a lawn mower through a cabbage patch.

Campus Republican at Yale terms campus lefties’ eternal rage “Protester Derangement Syndrome”:

Sit-ins, hunger strikes and angry mobs: These are all things I became accustomed to in my late teens and early 20s. No, I haven’t been living in a country experiencing severe political unrest. I am living in New Haven, Conn., and attending Yale University as an undergrad.
While this may sound bizarre to you, behavior typical of a severely oppressed society has taken hold among students who are part of the Ivory Tower. I call it Protester Derangement Syndrome, or PDS for short.
Yale students enjoy luxuries akin to European aristocracy. Students live in resort-style housing that includes lavish feasts, massage parlors and recreational spaces that boast everything from a printing press to a pottery studio. However, Yale students afflicted with PDS display derangement symptoms similar to an oppressed religious cult. They refuse to interact with the world around them. They have demanded the buildings be renamed. They support the desecration of art. They sanitize history by demanding professors exclude certain authors from syllabi.
The Yale administration believes they can treat PDS through concessions and pacification. Unfortunately, their prescription has been ineffective.

I’m gonna so enjoy being “the real world” for these little twerps. Or at least the few of them that actually make it into the productive parts of the private sector, anyway.

  1. That vandalism took time; it wasn’t a quick spray can job. And it isn’t unexpected.

Why wouldn’t the Repubs be smart enough to keep an eye on it. Maybe hide a camera to identify the evildoers?

  2. It would be interesting to know how many of the College Republicans and SiTD conspiracy theorists believe the DNC server conspiracy theory that Ukraine stole DNC emails in 2016 and then somehow framed Russia. The same conspiracy Trump and Giuliani are pushing.

  3. Emery,

It would be more interesting for SiTD readers to know whether or not you are capable of independent thought or if you truly are just a puppet of your left wing media propaganda spewers.

  4. bh
emery’s already proven his lack of capacity for independent thought and as he would gladly tell you were he capable of reflection, he isn’t concerned by that personal deficit.

  5. If you want to do some real vandalism in return, whenever you’re in a reprobates quarters and you see a smart speaker wait until the reprobate leaves the room and then say “Alexa, Please contribute $100 to the Trump campaign!”

its hell trying to get refunds

  6. Mac, since we’re discussing lists, better yet wait until the reprobate leaves the room and say “Alexa, Please read the Turner Diaries to me and my comrades, and sign me up for the Storm Front mailing list.”

If you think about it, this kind of f*ckery is bound to become standard procedure in the near future. Next stage in “swatting”.

  7. Trail transcript…

ATTORNEY (DEFENSE): So let me get this straight. You accuse my client of having hacked a DNC server – but you don’t have the server?

    PROSECUTION WITNESS: Yes.

ATTORNEY (DEFENSE): So where is the server?

PROSECUTION WITNESS: The DNC destroyed it.

ATTORNEY (DEFENSE): So what evidence do you have that my clients hacked the DNC server?

PROSECUTION WITNESS: A company called CROWDSTRIKE said they did.

    ATTORNEY (DEFENSE): Who hired CROWDSTRIKE?

    PROSECUTION WITNESS: The DNC.

ATTORNEY (DEFENSE): Did the DNC hire them directly or did they work through an intermediary?

    PROSECUTION WITNESS: An intermediary.

    ATTORNEY (DEFENSE): Who was that?

PROSECUTION WITNESS: Perkins and Coe law firm.

ATTORNEY (DEFENSE): The same Perkins and Coe law firm that Hillary Clinton and the DNC used to hire Fusion GPS to create the false and salacious Steele Dossier?

PROSECUTION WITNESS (ADDRESSING JUDGE): Do I have to answer that?

  8. Conservatives on American campuses, after swimming upstream for four years and enduring the kind of abuse they endure, are going to be tougher than mule jerky.

    Why yes, yes I am.

  9. Emery,

Something fishy went on for sure. While I dont know who or what did what with the DNC server I believe the truth will be coming out very soon. Dont you find it odd that the DNC refused to turn over the servers to the FBI when they requested them? That… just doesnt happen.

  10. Oh Emery is back the new edition of the Economist must be out so he knows what lines to parrot.

  11. Trump’s willingness to pursue a credibly debunked conspiracy theory is evidence either of narcissism or dementia. He displayed similar unsound thinking in his championing of birtherism. Whatever the internal cause, the fact that Trump displays such persistent fantasies and poor judgement represents a clear and present danger to American national security.

  12. let me fix that for ya Emery;

The Democrat’s willingness to pursue credibly debunked conspiracy theories is evidence either of narcissism or dementia. They displayed similar unsound thinking in their championing of the Steel dossier. Whatever the internal cause, the fact that Democrats display such persistent fantasies and poor judgement represents a clear and present danger to American national security.

there ya see how much more sense it makes – hell I could write an app for ya to fix these little slips.

  13. Quick someone check and see if that phrase appeared in the most recent copy of the Economist. Wouldnt be the first time hes done that.

  14. Forget why the DNC refused to allow the FBI to examine the “hacked” DNC server, why would anybody believe the server might have been whisked out of the country and be hidden in Ukraine?

What possible connection could exist between the Democrat National Committee, Vice President Biden, Biden’s son Hunter, Hunter’s job with Bursima Holdings, the nation of Ukraine, and the Vice President Biden pressuring Ukraine to fire the prosecutor looking into allegations that Bursima Holdings is corrupt?

  15. The transcript of the phone call, supplied by the White House itself, clearly shows that Trump abused his office. And his felonious behavior is compounded by the cover-up. It’s interesting to note that 66% of all Americans support the investigation. I wonder if all the Republican Congressmen will back Trump come hell or high water, if he drops further in the polls.

Hopefully, the investigation will lay bare the facts of this story. From then on, the American people can make an informed decision on whether this is the way they intend to be governed for another 4 years. It can only be positive by framing in cold terms the way policy is conducted in their name.

  16. Emery,
“his felonious behavior is…” cite the US Chapter and Paragraph that establishes the felony you allege

  17. The quality of the crap being thrown against the wall to see if it sticks is deteriorating steadily. It’s gone well past insulting to farcical

  18. “The quality of the crap being thrown against the wall to see if it sticks is deteriorating steadily. It’s gone well past insulting to farcical”

Emery displays a rare moment of self awareness…how refreshing!

  19. The quality of the crap being thrown against the wall to see if it sticks is deteriorating steadily.

Yes the Democrats throwing of fecal matter against Trump has gotten bad I agree.

  20. My neighbor told me the President secretly has been taking lessons. I can’t wait for his first music video: “Felonious Trump.”

  21. A large amount of the Mueller Report was about the things Trump did in reaction to an investigation, because he can’t regulate his conduct.

Imagine how he’ll react to impeachment and what else he might do.

  22. Imagine how he’ll react to impeachment and what else he might do.

Oh, some of us are looking forward to it.

  23. Kel wrote: “ […cite the US Chapter and Paragraph that establishes the felony you allege”

Perhaps you missed the memos. That was last week’s defense. No one now is denying any of the facts in the Complaint.

  24. Emery
no trump spokesperson has admitted or acknowledged any felonies
so again, this time read for comprehension, cite the US Code Chapter and Paragraph of the alleged felonies

give it another try little fella

  25. Emery, your 1:55 is the perfect example of why you should stop commenting on things you don’t understand.

    The FACTS are what happened.
The LAW is what we do about it.

If everybody admitted the FACTS in the Complaint actually happened, but the LAW doesn’t make those actions a felony, then the acts are not a felony and claiming the President committed a felony is slander.

You may be correct that the acts alleged in the Complaint constitute a felony. What Kel asked what that you cite the LAW that makes those acts a felony. So . . . let’s have it.

A link to the relevant section of the US Code would be nice, too.
