More Workplace Violence

Explosion that some are calling a “Failed Suicide Attack” in NYC.

Several people were injured after a device partially exploded inside a tunnel, the New York Post reports.

An officer reportedly told CBS News that cops are looking at a possible suicide bomber, although the situation is said to be “fluid”.

Berg’s Nineteenth Law is in full effect, of course. Nothing  you hear from the mainstream media, much less social media, is worth the pixels they’re printed on at this point.

  1. Well, how about this: NYPD named Bangladesh national Akayed Ullah as the Port Authority attacker in Manhattan

Was there EVER any doubt? Really? You may want to review immutability of yer laws as time window continues to shrink.

  2. Any bets ACLU already signed up for pro-bono work to make sure perp does not get triggered by islamophobia?

  3. So, how long has this member of the Religion of Peace ™ been walking our streets?

How many of his fellow muzzies did he get into the country via chain migration/family reunification/Diversity visas?

  4. MSM is on the case to answer all your questions, swiftee. That is what they do, dontcha know, get the factsTM and truthTM!

  5. Ullah came to the U.S. through the F43 visa, allowing him to obtain a Green Card simply because his father’s brother or sister had recently been naturalized as a U.S. citizen. This process is known as “extended-family chain migration.”

.@DHSgov can confirm that the suspect was admitted to the United States after presenting a passport displaying an F43 family immigrant visa in 2011. The suspect is a Lawful Permanent Resident from Bangladesh who benefited from extended family chain migration.

    There you go swiftee…

  6. CBS described one of these devices as “crudely-made” with “wires protruding from it.” The New York Post wrote of a “5-inch metal pipe bomb and battery pack strapped to his midsection.”

Obumbler to decry this as a person with an improvised pacemaker who had to make it himself due to lack of socialized medicine and invite perp to his residence in three… two… one…

  7. Yes, he’s a Muslim from a nation with active terrorists, but given that he more or less used a pipe bomb with about the same amount of powder that you’d find in a .50 Browning cartridge instead of making a real bomb, I have to guess that a degree of mental illness just might be involved.

Or stupidity. It seems that he’s absorbed some ISIS ideology (do they have a site in Bengali? ), but that his English is weak enough that he couldn’t figure out how to make a bomb that would penetrate through winter coats. Praise God for illiteracy on his part?

  8. Can anyone give me 1 benefit we’ve received from accepting the detritus of the 3rd world?

Do we really need more cab drivers, more people opening smelly convenience stores to commit welfare fraud with government backed loans?

Who buys the nasty food at Somali markets other than others from the same 3rd world shit holes? Are burkah markets a good thing?

    Enough of this bullshit.

  9. The media has gotten into the habit of referring to people like this psycho as being “radicalized.” Language is important. The “radicalized” are objects in a partial sentence that is missing the subject. Subject has radicalized object. The object has been done to, it took no action itself. Whom is the object? That’s always vague, something like “extremist websites.” or “jihad literature.”
This makes no sense. Websites and literature aren’t people, they can not do anything. The object of the sentence should use the reflexive form of the subject: He radicalized himself.
I am with Swiftee, there is no logical reason to allow psychos into this country. We are seeing the results of a war the government has declared on its own citizens.

  10. MP, that muzzy POS has been here 7 years. He’s enjoyed the fruits of our labor, took our food and shelter and then he decided the time was ripe to slay as many of us as he could.

He wasn’t “radicalized”; he was born into this shit, and he brought it over here with him with the encouragement of Obama.

His worthlessness to America is born out by the fact he’s to damn stupid to make a stinking pipe bomb.

I hope the rest of that nest he came with gets deported forthwith. But if course it’s NYC….that commie mayor will probably deliver a dozen fetching goats to them.

  11. Here’s some breaking news I know you’ll all enjoy.

“We are heartbroken by the violence that was targeted at our city today and by the allegations being made against a member of our family,” said the statement read by Albert Fox Cahn, the Legal Director for the NY Chapter Council for Islamic Relations.

“But we’re also outraged by the behavior of the law enforcement officials who held children as small as 4 years old out in the cold and who pulled a teenager out of high school classes to interrogate him without lawyer, without his parents.”

    Merry Christmas y’all.

  12. Boy, I did not realize I would be proven correct so quickly. Did not take long to turn the perp into a victim. Next, a hero makeover in Rolling Stone.

  13. Ah yes. The helpless lads fell into the clutches of ISIS….tragic.

Dalrymple is always excellent, Joe. Doesn’t he occaisionally contribute to Taki’s mag?

  14. Just realized….what’s wrong with thus sentence?

<Albert Fox Cahn, the Legal Director for the NY Chapter Council for Islamic Relations.

    Double plus good self-loathing.

  15. Swiftee, I am sure he is a Soros acolyte and that is where he gets his marching orders. Also, this is from his linkedin profile: He has experience defending clients in cartel matters, including criminal and civil investigations by the US Department of Justice and private class action litigations. And now he is working for CAIR. You cannot make this up.

  16. From the YCMTSU files, MSNBC just called for gun control because “suicide bomber”. Kid you not.

  17. Well sure, JPA, gun control makes perfect sense. Because the guy likely filled his pipe bomb with black powder for his matchlock musket, which is the only form of armament the Founders could have intended the Second Amendment to protect. But now that irresponsible long arm owners are using the propellant for terror, common sense requires reasonable restrictions on its purchase, possession, transportation, storage, and discharge. Everything else we just ban.

I have it on good authority that Santa is bringing me a special treat this year. If the gun grabbers are after black powder, I’d better stock up on it before the hoarders buy it all.
