  2. Kid Rock to the right of us, The Rock to the left. Caught between a rock and a rock? Any more rocks to be turned over?

  3. Understandable laws and regulations? Where’s the possibility for tyranny and graft in that?!

As an aside, I take back all I ever grilled “TurboTax Timmy” (Geithner) about. After seeing what my accountant had to do this year with Forms 8949, W-2, 1099-Bs, and Schedule D to make TurboTax actually do the right thing, I forgive him of any transgressions in reporting his taxes. Apparently graduate degrees in math, physics, and electrical engineering do not qualify me for understanding the logic, process, and instructions of our tax code.

  4. “Any more rocks…”

I think a presidential ticket of “Rock / Kid Rock” would…well, rock.

    Rhetorically, if nothing else.

  5. I don’t forgive Geithner. Schedule SE is fairly simple, so I don’t buy that he’s anything but a tax cheat, and he presided over the IRS at the time it was starting to use political affiliation as a pretext for enhanced audits. I don’t buy for a minute that he didn’t have a hand in it, as well as his boss.

Shame on the 60 Senators, nine of them Republicans, who voted to confirm this crook.

I don’t know if Kid Rock and The Rock would be an improvement, but we have got to start doing better than Corker, Cornyn, Crapo, Ensign, Graham, Gregg, Hatch, Shelby, and Snowe, not to mention those 51 Democrats.

  6. Unless he has been confirmed to the SCOTUS, I’m holding out for a Ted Nugent administration. Kid can pay his dues as VPOTUS…with Duck Dunn on bass.
