Donald Trump called ISIS “Evil Losers” in the wake of the Arianna Grande bombing last night.
Some on the left called the appelation the illiterate interjection of a trained chimp.
Not so much, says Scott Adams, who has over the past two years proven to be the only pundit in American who actually gets Trump. It’s part of Trump being, as Adams calls him, the Master Persuader.
He’s “branded” ISIS. And – says Adams – it’s genius:
If you call them monsters, they like it. If you call them ISIS or ISIL they put it on a flag and wave it around. If you call them non-Muslim, it just rolls off their backs because they have Korans and stuff. Almost any other “brand” you can imagine is either inert or beneficial to Loser recruitment.
Loser is different. No one joins the Loser movement. Try at home, with your family or friends, to concoct a more effective brand poisoning than Loser. You probably can’t. Remember, your brand has to fit with future confirmation evidence. The Losers on the battlefield will continue to be losing, so the brand is engineered to get stickier over time. Your alternative idea for a brand solution has to have that quality of future confirmation too. Good luck finding a better persuasion brand.
This is not accidental. President Trump does (laugh if you will) have the best words, at least for this sort of thing. He’s proven it over and over. Just ask Jeb, Ted, and HIllary.
The whole thing is worth a read.
Deplorables.
Evil losers.
I was going on an epic rant and yet…
I like “losers”, but think the better term for them is “alkhanzir”. Pigs. Or better yet, “khinzir alquraf”.
“Animal food-trough wipers.”
I find it enormously dismaying. I don’t think Trump has any concept of what truth is. I think he says whatever comes to his head, and then, like a psychopath, can say something very different the next day and believe both statements entirely, even though they’re contradictory.
emery mewled: ‘ I don’t think Trump has any concept of what truth is. ‘
and you’re the arbiter of truth? Talk about breathtaking sense of privilege!
Scott Adams’ take on events, continue to show his brilliance.
Emery;
You mean a psychopath like Hillary, Pelosi, Maxine Waters and Cryin Chucky Shumer? That kind?
OK, Emery, Mr. Trump says something that is undoubtedly true–that the perpetrator was a loser-and all you can do is to recite talking points about how you don’t think he knows fact from fiction? As if he’s been running his business all these years not knowing what the contracts he signs mean and require?
Honestly, if you want to see somebody that is having trouble differentiating fact and fiction, shave.
“like a psychopath”
Everyone says that Trump has narcissistic personality disorder. IMO, his kids would be a lot stranger or less confident acting, if that were the case. Maybe the mother stopped it.
I have to admit that his rhetoric makes me think he’s got it.
Pelosi and Maxine Waters definitely have got it. I’d love to know how well adjusted Shumer’s kids are.
Hillary’s got it by her behavior more than her rhetoric.
Bill has it for sure. I read a great article about it.
I find it enormously dismaying. I don’t think Trump has any concept of what truth is. I think he says whatever comes to his head, and then, like a psychopath, can say something very different the next day and believe both statements entirely, even though they’re contradictory.
Loser.
“I don’t think Trump has any concept of what truth is. I think he says whatever comes to his head…”
He feels entitled to not study policy. He could run his business like this no doubt.
I heard that there are bunch of public Never Trumpers that regret now because Trump is giving so much free reign in stuff he doesn’t know. I heard it from Michael Medved.
Rewarding Saudi Arabia (losers) responsible for the rise of ISIS with hundreds of billions of dollars in weapons probably wasn’t a good idea.
Emery: We ***have*** to defend the petrodollar. There is only so much we can do about that stuff.
The whole monetary system is going to be overhauled in a few years and we may not keep the long end of the stick.
WHAT IS GOING ON HERE? https://twitter.com/dynamicvol/status/867086156772634624
Make sure you see all parts of that thread.
Ever notice how the financial system drives this or that?
Notice how it went up around the NASDAQ bubble. They got rid of the 30 year bond under Clinton. So vote Democrat, right?
Have you seen The Truman Show?
Trump’s budget proposal is Reaganomics revisited. It didn’t really work last time but folks still think Reagan was a great president.
Reagan had a ton of runway i.e. he could pack on the debt, public and private. This gossed our economy. He was spending to drive the Soviets into the ground. Volker stopped inflation with ***interest rate brutality*** just in time. The lowering of inflation is what made the economy take off for real.. Reagan told him to do it and not worry about his reelection, which was incredibly noble.
Our system is predicated on credit growth regardless of the productivity of that debt.
Reagan wanted to end this crap but defeating the Soviets was the priority. His treasury secretary made it very clear that fiat money was good. Merrill Lynch. Now look at Wall Street vs. oh say EVERYTHING ELSE.
Reagan was a Keynesian.
What is going on here?
Are you in control?
They want 50 year bonds now. Very Democrat of them. Trump is an inflationist. They all are.
Mises.org is right about everything.
One thing is for certain: whether Trump or Clinton won the election, Goldman Sachs was the real winner.
“Everyone says that Trump has narcissistic personality disorder. ”
Everyone who realizes that “fascist” and “literally Hitler” have been overused into meaninglessness.
As, inevitably, will “narcissism”.
The only way a spouse “stops” NPD in their children is by taking them and running far away when they’re still young.
I will fight the devaluation of the clinical term “narcissism” with every ounce of energy I have.
The other thing is, Melania seems too well adjusted to be married to an actual narcissist.
For the record, when I use the word “fascism” I mean it, and not in a casual pop sense.
It’s identity politics + Big Business getting in bed with Big Government.
Trump is just fascism for people that have gotten mowed down by Leftist fascism.
This isn’t socialism, like Denmark.
I believe each one of Trump’s Wives and girlfriends deserve credit for raising Trump’s kids.
The point is, saying that Trump has narcissistic personality disorder isn’t clear based on what I see.
The psychopaths are in the Eccles Building.
Emery;
Have you ever actually listened to his kids talking about him? Jesus Christ! Put down your f-ing crack pipe, turn off CNN & MSNBC and learn something!!! Sheesh!
Emery wants to believe that government can make our lives better by producing non-public goods.
Now President Trump is going to produce them.
And a blood sucking leech must be proud for raising you, since that is what you resemble the most.
Ok, you guys are too fast. The blood sucking leach is of course SFB eTASS from 3:15.
Not possible, hoss. SFB eTASS is incapable of learning. He shat his brains out the moment he delved into Das Kapital.
Trump and Bernie are *** symptoms *** of The Truman Show.
Going back to the original point, our President did a great job here in referring to ISIS by what they are. Losers. Alkhanzar. Khinzir-alquraf. And hopefully he’ll be able to help some more losers who are leaking up a storm and hurting our country “leave government employment to pursue other opportunities”, possibly including “holding on to two gray steel bars.”
I’m not an eminent psychiatrist like Emery, so I’m not qualified to diagnose somebody over the internet as he does. But I question the diagnosis.
Narcissus was the guy who couldn’t stop staring at his own reflection in the pond. The politician who most closely resembles that is the guy who gave the Queen a tape of his own campaign speeches.
Trump is a profoundly ignorant man. And the people around him are equally ignorant. He doesn’t trust anybody. He doesn’t know a lot about Washington. He knows almost nothing about the government and, in fact, appears not to understand the U.S. Constitution.
I think he gets most of his information from television and from conversation. And I think he’s very good at acquiring information from conversation, like a lot of people who are not really literate. He listens well. He hears well. And he remembers well. And so you see, disproportionately, he’s inclined to hire people who’ve appeared on Fox News, which is a very small segment of society.
The fundamental driver of Western civilization is the agreement that objective reality exists, that people of goodwill can perceive it and that other people will change their views when presented with the facts of the matter. First of all, you need to have principles. You need to stand by those principles and remember them. Second, you need to look at reality to observe facts and not just have opinions and to say, what are the facts of the matter? Third, you need to act upon those facts according to your principles.
“The fundamental driver of Western civilization is the agreement that objective reality exists…”
“The fundamental driver of Western civilization is the agreement that objective reality exists…”
“You need to stand by those principles and remember them.”
***Emery Believes In Government***, The Eccles Building, And The Solvency Of Medicare.
Have a cookie Emery because Central Planning Is Dead. twopercentGDPforever
Watch youtubes of Lou Rockwell. I’m not a fan, but how wrong is he?
“When the evidence conflicts with what I believe, then the evidence is wrong.”
There is always a tendency to label people whose behavior disturbs us as being sick. This in itself is a pathology, especially if all of your info comes second or third hand and you have no expertise in the field. Diagnosing people without examining them is a big ethical no-no. Trained psychologists who do this should be thrown out of the profession (such as it is).
OK, Emery, Trump is not literate, which explains his Ivy League bachelor’s degree, as well as the fact that he’s been getting contracts for real estate for the past 50 years.
Seriously? You don’t have to like Trump, but if you’d stop spouting off transparent BS you heard on HuffPo or somewhere, you might yet attain some credibility.
If a president can declare what is and what is not ‘legitimate’ Islam, what is to prevent them from declaring what is and what is not legitimate Christianity?
“Trump is a profoundly ignorant man. And the people around him are equally ignorant. He doesn’t trust anybody. He doesn’t know a lot about Washington. He knows almost nothing about the government and, in fact, appears not to understand the U.S. Constitution.”
Emery, I’m sure I’ve seen this exact paragraph 2 or 3 times in the past couple months on various other sites – you must really get around.
“Trump is dumb” – keep up the good work Emery cause this worked really well with GW Bush so its gotta work on Trump
“. And the people around him are equally ignorant.”
ok, this part must be true since out of 16 Cabinet members only 3 went to Harvard and 3 went to Yale. Out of the other 8 Cabinet-level positions only 1 of them went to Harvard. So you’re right Emery, since all the rest went to minor schools like Sarah Palin did they’ve gotta be an ignorant bunch.
SFB eTASS projects a lot, don’t he?
Dunning_Kruger plagiarized:
“I think he gets most of his information from television and from conversation. And I think he’s very good at acquiring i…”
Wait, what? Cogent sentences? I yes, I know what that means.

From a PBS interview with author Tom Ricks.
What the fuck, exactly, is wrong with you Emery? Its beyond Dunning _Kruger syndrome…you are a seriously fucked up individual.
You have a specialized type of Turrettes. Without someone else’s words, instead of blurting out vulgarities without warning, you spew lies or stupidity.
You should run for Congress in the 5th CD.
Y’all that insist on engaging need to realize, you’re not conversing with Dunning_Kruger, you’re responding to someone else. You’d be better off going to the source.
Dunning_Kruger, Teh Peevee and Dog Woman…two delusional liars and a raving lunatic; the representatives of the left.
Let that sink in, and tell me liberalism isn’t a mental disease.
I’ve read most of the “power” Leftists, Swiftee. They are all morons. They believe — or they say they believe — that Christian terrorism is as serious or a more serious problem than Islamic terrorism. They tie themselves in knots to include the Oklahoma City bombing of 1995 on lists of “Christian terrorism” while arbitrarily excluding 9/11 from the list of Muslim terror attacks on the U.S. They will mangle syntax to reason that current Muslim terrorism is a justifiable response to the Christian Crusades that ended three-quarters of a millennia ago. They want you to believe that Christians are more dangerous than Muslims, but they will insult Christians and Christianity with impunity, and avoid insulting Muslims and Islam out of fear of being murdered or ostracized by their fellow Lefties. There is no courage in them, intellectual or otherwise.
They do not believe in universal human rights, but they do believe that all societies are equal. How they square that circle is a mystery, but they have to. If you believe that America in 2017 is more advanced than America in 1917 because women can vote, religious discrimination is illegal, etc., than how do you describe a society that currently forbids women equal rights and enforces strict religious laws? If they aren’t less advanced than we are, how can the Americans of 1917 be less advanced than we are?
It’s almost like this whole “Progressive” ideology is a fraud, and it is simply a means to power for people who have too much power in the first place.
Mr. D nails it.
Mammy, it is called intellectual dishonesty. Although since they are trying to square a circle, I do not think there is much intelligence involved.
Great post Mammuthus Primigenius.
“It’s almost like this whole “Progressive” ideology is a fraud, and it is simply a means to power for people who have too much power in the first place.” It’s all about sizing government power and pretending that central planning works. Any means necessary.
