Challenge Accepted

Chris “The Ken Doll Of News” Cuomo doesn’t like being called a “fake newsman“:

“I see being called ‘fake news’ as the equivalent of the N-word for journalists, the equivalent of calling an Italian any of the ugly words that people have for that ethnicity,” Cuomo said on SiriusXM.

“That’s what ‘fake news’ is to a journalist,” the CNN host continued. “It’s an ugly insult, and you better be right if you’re going to charge a journalist with lying on purpose.”

For startes, Mr. Como – no.  It’s not the same as the N-word.  The N-word is bestowed for no more reason than someone’s skin color.

“Fake News” is earned.  It’s earned by putting agenda before fact.   As the mainstream media has been making a habit of doing, and justifying doing, for decades, but more lately than ever.

  1. Bias has two components. 1) what you report and, 2) what you don’t report. Today’s MSM is clueless. They believe THEY define what is True. Sorry, but Truth is a higher concept than mere journalists (or their editors) can conceive. God defined Truth, but God (big ‘G) is an abstraction to the demi-gods of media.

  2. I’ve noticed that certain pairs of brothers become famous independently of one another and often turn out very differently.

    — Rick Bayless is an acclaimed chef in Chicago, while Skip Bayless is an incredibly annoying talking head in the sports business
    — Jeffrey Skilling was an Enron crook, while Tom Skilling has been a weatherman for WGN in Chicago for years
    — Bill Bennett was a Reagan official, author, educator and talk show host, while Robert Bennett was a Clinton apologist
    — Billy Bulger was a big wheel in the Massachusetts legislature, while Whitey Bulger was an infamous gangster
    — Andrew Cuomo is a Democratic politician who is governor of New York, while Chris Cuomo is a Democratic operative pretending to be a journalist

  3. Ever watched the Woodhouse brothers go after each other on Fox News?

Brad is a typical fact challenged liberat. His brother, Dallas, is chair of the NC Republican Party and their debates are epic.

  4. Boss, are those the guys that got into it on the air and their mother called in to scold them?

  5. Big Stink…correct. Bias news doesn’t necessarily mean inaccurate facts. Its what you hammer on and what you totally ignore. Abu Ghraib being on the front page of the NYT for 34 consecutive days was that paper’s way of going after George Bush. To try to turn people against him.
A pro-choice activist going up a to pro-life activist in Owasso Michigan and shooting him in the head, killing him……saying “I hate anti-abortion protestors” and not being reported, is a way for MSM to shield pro-choicers.
WCCO radio early morning news consisting primarily of them reading left-wing anti-Trump press releases from left wing organizations, as news, is an example.
Shall we talk about language and terminology? All of MSM now refers to homosexual marriage as “marriage equality”. Or always referring to the Planned Parenthood videos as “heavily edited”. Well, the few news stories on them.

  6. Deception by omission. it is just like saying Hitler was great for building autobahn. Period. End of sentence. No other discussion about the rest of his legacy.

  7. Chuck: as a boy I listened to ‘CCO – the good neighbor – drone on every day, all day about why life in Minnesota couldn’t be compared to anything else on the planet. Eventually, I outgrew the ‘Minnesota Nice’ bilge. ‘CCO, and I dare say – most of Minnesota Media, never adjusted to the changing world. If I wanted to drown myself in yesterday’s world, I could tune them in again but I learned my lesson years ago:

Truth is broadcast on a different frequency. I found it and I can tell you where to find it, but you’d have to kill me – because it’s judgmental.
