  1. The recent court case about individuals being compelled to support unions that they don’t belong to….the thing that started that was that the SEIU supported a law allowing men to shower with girls.

And just like Conceal Carry opponents saying “no life has ever been saved by a conceal carry holder”….they also say dirty preditors will never want to shower with girls. …… it just happened in Seattle. A man went into a girls locker room at a Seattle YMCA and undressed. They asked him to leave as he didn’t look like a drag queen, but he correctly pointed out that under Washington law, they have to let him shower with the girls. This is not your grandfathers Democrat party.

  2. The dream of any financier is to reduce risk by controlling the market.
The government is very good at controlling markets. Look at all the money the crony capitalists have made off of alt energy. Energy is a commodity. Traditionally you can’t make more than cost on commodity because you can’t differentiate your product in the marketplace and, more importantly, you can’t control the sell price.
Government subsidies allow alt energy producers to sell below cost and still make a profit. Government mandates force buyers to pay a price higher than market price for kilowatts.
Money spent on one thing can’t be spent on another thing. The ten cents per Kwh more paid for alt energy than conventional energy could buy an awful lot of scholarships for poor students or health care for poor children.
