While I agree that the win is a good thing, a greater understanding of his political views and promises might temper the good news.
The application of the term “commonsense” used to describe political issues has
always been associated with one of the major political parties more than the other. Hopefully it was just used for political expediency. However, I guess a California version of Scott Brown is still better than their version of Al Franken (although he would likely be indistinguishable from ours).
But it is good news regardless, with great news still on academic probation …
