After Nanny Pelosi says the calls to investigate Attorney General Eric “Let’s send guns to the narcotraficantes and bug the AP” Holder is about “Voter Suppression”, Rep. Trey Gowdy, bless his heart, did something politicians almost never manage.
He told the truth (emphasis added):
“It’s really beneath the office of a member of Congress to say something that outrageous, and the fact that she was once the speaker is mind-numbing,” Rep. Gowdy told Fox News’ Greta van Susteren.
“I have heard a lot in my 16 years as a prosecutor. I couldn’t believe the words coming out of her mouth,” he added.
Gowdy calls Pelosi mind-numbingly stupid
“I don’t know what was wrong with her when she said that. But I would schedule an appointment with my doctor if she thinks that we are doing this to suppress votes this fall. That is mind-numbingly stupid,” Gowdy said.
He wasn’t the only one:
Jim Hoft of the Gateway Pundit reminded readers that “Pelosi also said Democrats brought down the deficit after they increased it by a trillion dollars.”
“She’s either mind-numbingly stupid or a chronic liar, or both,” Hoft wrote.
I beg to differ.
What she said – almost always says, in fact – is mind-numbingly stupid.
But she’s speaking to the new Democrat base – the people who think a seven-second, Alinskyite sound bite is, in fact, fact. People whose idea of “checking facts” has devolved into “checking to see what my favorite left-leaning source says they are”, which is two steps up from Duckspeak.
Compare Pelosi’s screed to Mongrel Cur’s insane droppings…compare them with a scientists critical eye.
It’s a well established fact that liberalism is a mental disorder, but I think after our careful comparison, we can further conclude that when the liberal detects danger to it’s demented worldview, the dementia gland that accompanies the liberal disorder provides a increased flow of kool-aid.
The kool-aid rush in turn results in a firestorm if insane outbursts akin to an adrenaline rush resulting in increased physical strength in normal human beings.
I’m beginning to wonder if liberals are not a unique sub-species.
Speaking of low information voters…..Governor JimBeam said he will “raise revenue” by “closing corporate loopholes”.
What does “closing corporate loopholes” mean? It sounds nice, like The State is no longer going to allow greedy corporations to cheat The State out of taxes.
But what it really means is they are raising taxes on our employers. The unnamed loopholes are probably normal expenses that companies deduct from their income. Kind of like that mortgage interest loophole that many citizens use.
I don’t think she’s chronically stupid. She’s evil. She’s a self-proclaimed but hidden and unofficial minister of propaganda, and she’s a liar. She knows her (and the Dems) voting base is largely consisted of low-information voters, and people addicted to government largesse. She is using misleading propaganda and talking points simply to talk down Republicans and gain low-info political points for her party.
For at least the last couple years, I have stopped giving almost all Democrat politicians the benefit of the doubt that they are stupid. By and large, they are not. They are calculating, and lots are pure evil. The one exception that I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt to for being 50% stupid and 50% insane, is Sheila Jackson Lee.
“I have noticed a large number people, implying with bad jokes and anecdotes that Louisiana Cajuns ain’t smart. I would like to state for the record that I disagree with that assessment. Anybody who would build a city five feet below sea level and fill it with Democrats who can’t swim is a damn genius.”
I wonder if he’ll close the loophole that allows his family to stash their trust fund money in South Dakota to avoid paying “his fair share” of Minnesota taxes?

To call her “Nanny” Pelosi gives the impession that she, like Bloomberg, has a grand plan and deserves a moniker that validates and promotes her misguided cause.
I’d hate to put Pelosi on the same plane as Bloomberg. Though both are only in it for themselves, he’s got the smarts (and cash) to facilitate his self-promtotional plans. All Ms. Pelosi can do is hop and clap to whatever music her leaders throw her way.
She’s nothing but a shill to those those whose causes she promotes and blindly supports.
