Every so often, I need something that reaffirms my faith that not everyone is trash.
I mean besides the NY09 election results, of course. That was good too.
No, I’m actually referring to this video, which you’ve no doubt seen: A group of bystanders rescue a motorcyclist who’d slid under (ow, ow, ow ow ow) the BMW during an accident.
OK. Back to the regular news.
I’m with you, Mitch! Saw this on the news this morning and it’s totally awesome! I also saw an interview that they did with a couple of the men that helped to lift that car and their praise was on the woman that is seen lying on her belly looking straight into the flames and screaming out that he was still alive! Even more amazing is that although he wasn’t wearing a helmet, he sustained no head trauma and is expected to make a full recovery! We saw a group of ordinary citizens become heroes in less than 3 minutes!
I saw the video yesterday afternoon and I too was amazed. Those average folks showed us what courage and resolve can do, undoubtably saving the poor guys life.
It’s all over the news here in Utah since it happened in Logan. The local media interviewed the motorcycle rider who called his rescuers heroes and said that he owed them his life….
