Its unfortunate that the changes have to be so painful. This isn’t easy for our gov’t employees. I think the problem is that we have skated on auto-pilot for far too long. No one bothered to change things until it was too late.
In private business, the buzzword a few years ago was “burning platform”. Everything seemed fine, but you had to “reinvent yourself” every so ofter before it became too late.
