Are one-third of us smarter than the other two thirds? If so, is that how Amerika works now?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;They&#8217;re going to have to spend substantial time convincing people of  the concrete benefits of this legislation.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Isn&#8217;t that supposed to happen <em>before <\/em>a law is passed?<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, regarding the post-passage &#8220;violence&#8221; on the part of &#8220;opponents&#8221; to the bill, what say ye Amerika?<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>And when asked about incidents of vandalism and threats that followed  the bill&#8217;s passage, Americans are more inclined to blame Democratic  political tactics than critics&#8217; harsh rhetoric. Forty-nine percent say  Democratic tactics are &#8220;a major reason&#8221; for the incidents, while 46%  blame criticism by conservative commentators and 43% the criticism of  Republican leaders.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Is that tacit approval for the acts of defiance?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230;so why does America think we lost&#8230;and lost big?
