One of the men asked Gladney, \u201cWhat kind of n*%%er are you to be giving out this kind of stuff?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Obama\u2019s supporters got the message. They were getting in people\u2019s faces, and they were punching. And kicking. Repeatedly.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>Yet despite the fact that the Kenneth Gladney beating occurred the same day that the Obama Administration recommended supporters \u201cpunch back twice as hard,\u201d there was no hyperventilating in the media about political violence or the veiled threats that encouraged it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Real statements.\u00a0 Real violence.<\/p>\n<p>Now, unlike Steny Hoyer and Ed Schultz, I&#8217;m not going to babble about how these actions &#8211; this <em>preponderance <\/em>of actions &#8211; reflects on every liberal.\u00a0 That&#8217;d be stupid.<\/p>\n<p>But in <em>Modern Times<\/em>, Paul Johnson notes that &#8220;the end justifies the means&#8221; is a theme connecting all statists, from Mussolini to Alinski.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While Democrats have become very quick to try to hide their own failings behind purported Republican\/conservative baseness (remember when Hillary Clinton blamed Rush Limbaugh for the Oklahoma City Bombing?), it&#8217;s interesting to notice how selective they are about the subject.
