In the Daily Wire world, I genuinely like Ben Shapiro. \u00a0 I often enjoy Michael Knowles. \u00a0<\/p>\n

But I tolerate Matt Walsh most days. \u00a0 He has just enough flashes of brilliance to get me past the fact that he’s built an entire career on trolling people. \u00a0 Which is generally the part I like – he does that part well. \u00a0<\/p>\n

It’s just that occasionally he botches up the other part of the job – thinking and reasoning. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Has Walsh ever met a college athlete? \u00a0Especially a\u00a0really good\u00a0<\/em>one?<\/p>\n

Clark is a 24 year old woman who’s spent her entire life training to be, not a social crusader, but an athlete. \u00a0 Part of that has been learning to go along and get along with the “mean girls” on her teams, in her middle school homeroom, wherever. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

She may\u00a0need to be\u00a0<\/em>that crusader – or, more accurately, some may\u00a0want\u00a0<\/em>or\u00a0need\u00a0<\/em>her to be that crusader. \u00a0<\/p>\n

But answer honestly – is there anything in what you’ve seen of Caitlin Clark so far that makes you think she has ever wanted to be anything but a basketball player?<\/p>\n
