{"id":89694,"date":"2025-06-06T08:14:18","date_gmt":"2025-06-06T13:14:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=89694"},"modified":"2025-06-06T08:40:25","modified_gmt":"2025-06-06T13:40:25","slug":"lords-of-the-flies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=89694","title":{"rendered":"City Council Reps And County Attorney Of The Flies"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This past Tuesday, scads of feds &#8211; FBI, DHS, BATFE &#8211; raided eight different businesses around the Twin Cities, serving search warrants related to human trafficking.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Seven of the raids went off without a hitch.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But the eighth &#8211; at Lake and Bloomington, deep in the heart of white, progressive Minneapolis &#8211; was different.\u00a0 The Feds rolled in in MRAPs and full battle rattle.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And, in their own way, so did Minneapolis&#8217;s entire progressive power structure; the video is worth a watch:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\ud83d\udea8FULL VIDEO:<br>Suspected ICE, Human Trafficking and Drug Raid took place in Minnesota. While law enforcement carried out the raid they were met with a mob of Anti-ICE protesters. <br><br>This is what happened&#8230; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/jMUsiMWnFz\">pic.twitter.com\/jMUsiMWnFz<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Nick shirley (@nickshirleyy) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nickshirleyy\/status\/1930278605482762516?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 4, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Watching the woman at around 1:15 is enough to make me realize I sold Michael Savage short:  progressivism certainly appears to be a manifestation of some kind of emotional trouble. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Around 3:00 minutes in, you can see the crowd &#8211; white, progressive, lots of tattoos and man-buns &#8211; starting to push and shove the feds.\u00a0 It&#8217;s\u00a0<em>almost\u00a0<\/em>as if someone wants to institgate another riot.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Around 7:00, the crowd starts to dump trash barrels on the street, apparently trying to keep the feds from leaving.  Around 9:30, it gets even worse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mace comes out around 11:30. as the MRAPs leave the area.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This was\u00a0<em>in defense of human traffickers.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>For all the\u00a0<em>sturm und drang<\/em>, it doesn&#8217;t appear that anyone involved in attacking the feds or cops got arrested for obstructing justice.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The reactions from DFLers were&#8230;predictable.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Putative mayoral front-runner Omar Fateh:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">There is no circumstance in which MPD should cooperate with ICE. In the eyes of many, Minneapolis has one of the strongest Separation Ordinances in the country. But yesterday, we saw its weaknesses: a close reading of our Separation Ordinance still allows collaboration with ICE.<\/p>&mdash; Omar Fateh (@OmarFatehMN) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/OmarFatehMN\/status\/1930272893273030663?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 4, 2025<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Senator Fateh:  under &#8220;<em>no<\/em>&#8221; circumstances?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like , not even with active human trafficking?<\/p>\n<p>Weird.<\/p>\n<p>Councilman Chavez &#8211; who is the primary evidence not only of Berg&#8217;s 21st Law, but of the &#8220;Cano Corollary&#8221; to the 21st Law, named after the loony-left councilwoman he replaced because <em>she was too moderate for the local DFL<\/em> &#8211; sounded off.
