BERG:\u00a0 Huh.\u00a0 So you’re saying a populist utopian movement that builds itself around a central mythology<\/a>, that relentlessly sorts society into “in” and “out” groups<\/a>, that co-opts or destroys<\/a> the societal institutions to consolidate and uphold its power<\/a>,that requires enemies either internal<\/a> or external to divert attention away from the problems they cause<\/a>, and tolerates<\/a>, and even glorifies<\/a> and fetishizes violence to intimidate and subdue<\/a> opposition, is Fascist?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LIBRELLE:  Yep!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BERG:\u00a0 Right.\u00a0 And a “fascist” movement that obsesses<\/a> over race to the point that it’s their fundamental motivation<\/a>, screening mechanism<\/a> and call to action<\/a> resembles Naziism?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LIBRELLE:  Uh, yeah<\/em>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BERG:\u00a0 Huh.\u00a0 And a movement that exists within our Federalist system, but ignores<\/a> or actively denigrates<\/a> the parts of that system that inconveniences its pursuit of its political goals<\/a>, and exists mainly to uphold the wealth and power of its key stakeholders<\/a>, resembles the Confederacy?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LIBRELLE:\u00a0 Er…yes.\u00a0 And why do you put all the links in when you talk?\u00a0 That’s just #weird<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
