This one is going to have some extra special <\/em>administrator-fu<\/a> (emphasis added):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first sentence of the position\u2019s summary says, \u201cthe Assistant Superintendent proactively supports the Superintendent to create and communicate anti-racist structures and systems, works to interrupt systems of oppression, and serves as a role model for culturally relevant pedagogy<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The school district continues its summary of the position by saying the assistant superintendent must be \u201cunwaveringly committed to anti-racist actions and use data to adapt and sustain their efforts towards racial equity<\/strong> to plan, direct, and coordinate action to achieve the mission and strategic objectives.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The job description continues by saying the school district is seeking an assistant superintendent who can \u201cexamine the presence and role of \u2018Whiteness\u2019 in systems and structures<\/strong>,\u201d and is \u201copen to feedback regarding their own racial blind spots.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
