Minnesota has developed some horrifying personality tics in recent years. Especially this past year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But one that’s a groaner, year in, year out, is Minnesota’s crippling inferiority complex. It was manifested most plainly in the ’80s, when Minneapolis adopted the marketing hook “The MinneApple” – and continues every time the local media finds the most absurd possible local angles to every national story. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But this story which got headlines in most Twin Cities media on Tuesday – may be the most pathetic <\/a>of all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9)<\/strong> – Lady Gaga dined at Caf\u00e9 and Bar Lurcat in Minneapolis<\/a> Sunday night, according to a tweet from the restaurant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tweet on Monday said, “When an iconic restaurant hosts an icon. Last night, we were delighted to have Lady Gaga join us for dinner. On behalf of our staff, we thank Lady Gaga \u2014 one of the most beloved and influential singers, songwriters and performance actors \u2014 for choosing our Mpls restaurant.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
