I&#8217;m old enough to remember when Minnesota was overwhelmed with New York City.  <em>Plus ca change&#8230;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But what <em>is <\/em>the rationale for this list, from always-Democrat-friendly CNBC? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ll add some emphasis:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>To determine its rankings, CNBC factored in metrics across 10 categories, listed here <strong>in order of their weight<\/strong>: workforce; infrastructure; economy; life, health and inclusion; cost of doing business; <strong>technology and innovation<\/strong>; <strong>business friendliness<\/strong>; education; access to capital; and cost of living.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>So &#8211; according to a list that ranks stuff HR cares about well ahead of stuff Accounting cares about, Minnesota beats Texas&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230;by one.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wheeeeeee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congrats, DFL. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Minnesota DFLers are giving themselves rotor-cuff issues patting themselves on the back&#8230; &#8230;over, uh, this: Minnesota came in one slot of Texas.
