No. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SCOTUS is <em>not <\/em>&#8220;beholden to the people&#8221;.   That&#8217;s the House.  The Senate was intended to be  beholden to the States (one of our nation&#8217;s greatest mistakes was changing that). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SCOTUS responds <em>only <\/em>to the Constitution.
