You never saw&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s what I freaking said.  I somehow managed not to see the movie until Christmas-time, 2021.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I probably watched it 4-5 times that season, and a couple more last year and this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But I wasn&#8217;t aware that there was another ending&#8230;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"It&#039;s a Wonderful Life: The Lost Ending - SNL\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vw89o0afb2A?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking of movies &#8211; it&#8217;s become clear in recent years that the only thing needed to call a film a &#8220;Chrismas Movie&#8221; is any intersection with Christmas of any kind, no matter how tangential. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So with that in mind, here is the list of the top 12 &#8220;Chrfistmas Movies&#8221;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Die Hard<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Alexander Nevsky<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lethal Weapon 1<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Patton<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Goodfellas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full Metal Jacket<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carrie<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Better Off Dead<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stalag 17<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rocky IV<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Rev<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trading Places. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>But whatever you think is <em>really <\/em>a Christmas movie, I wish you and yours a happy one.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I saw Frank Capra&#8217;s &#8220;It&#8217;s A Wonderful Life&#8221; two years ago. &#8220;Whaaaaat?
