It might be a school rampage, true &#8211; but it also covers botched robberies, <em>sicarios <\/em>executing suspect mules, a drive-by shooting indiscriminately into a crowd sending 3-5 people to the hospital, a murder\/suicide &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/r.search.yahoo.com\/_ylt=AwrCwogpZ8xipDcAqQgPxQt.;_ylu=Y29sbwNiZjEEcG9zAzEEdnRpZAMEc2VjA3Nj\/RV=2\/RE=1657591722\/RO=10\/RU=https%3a%2f%2fwww.nbcnews.com%2fnews%2fus-news%2foklahoma-man-uses-ar-15-kill-three-teen-home-intruders-n739541%23%3a~%3atext%3dA%252023-year-old%2520Oklahoma%2520man%2520used%2520a%2520semi-automatic%2520AR-15%2cranging%2520between%252016%2520and%252017%2520around%252012%253A30%2520p.m.\/RK=2\/RS=FE.JNxjfs8YKSCeF39BM0wCYSV4-\">even self-defense<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A &#8220;Spree Killing&#8221; or &#8220;Rampage Killing&#8221;&#8216;s only motive is killing for its own sake, and no other motive &#8211; not even terrorism.  It includes episodes like Uvalde, Sandy Hook ,the Buffalo grocery store, and of course one that were <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?page_id=55536\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"55536\">ended by good guys with guns<\/a> before they turned into &#8220;mass shootings&#8221; (thus ensuring no media interest).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There may well have been 320 &#8220;mass shootings&#8221; &#8211; many or most of them in places like Chicago, Baltimore, Saint Louis and Newark, with a few very notable spree killings distributed among the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And for <em>some reason<\/em>, the &#8220;agonized decisions&#8221; seem to involve ignoring &#8220;mass shootings&#8221; where the victims don&#8217;t look like the relatives of network executives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The problem with &#8220;mass shootings&#8221; is there are just too many of the to cover ZOMG! &#8220;Agonizing decisions&#8221;.
