Literally, they could not <em>infri<\/em>nge the <em>right <\/em>of <em>the people<\/em> to keep<em> and carry <\/em>firearms, provided they aren&#8217;t otherwise disqualified from doing so. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The left is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/04\/26\/us\/supreme-court-gun.html\">getting the vapors<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And while Roberts conservative credentials have proven to be less than stellar, it&#8217;s worth remembering he voted with the majority on <em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/District_of_Columbia_v._Heller\">Heller<\/a> <\/em>and <em><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/McDonald_v._City_of_Chicago\">MacDonald<\/a>. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Expect Big Left to mount the mother of all full-court presses.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Citizens United <\/em>big?  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;d wager a shiny new quarter on it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Much more on this on Monday&#8217;s episode of the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mngunreport.com\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"www.mngunreport.com\">MN Gun Report<\/a>&#8221; podcast (which, as noted about ten words ago, comes out on Monday). <\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>News came out yesterday.
