{"id":75987,"date":"2020-12-02T06:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-12-02T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=75987"},"modified":"2020-12-01T06:43:38","modified_gmt":"2020-12-01T12:43:38","slug":"onerous-usurpations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=75987","title":{"rendered":"Onerous Usurpations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>When I posted the social media companion pieces to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=75975\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"75975\">yesterday&#8217;s post on the grotesque parody of &#8220;science&#8221; that played out over the shopping weekend<\/a>, I had a <em>lot <\/em>of people respond &#8220;It&#8217;s time for restaurants to throw their doors open and dare Keith Ellison do to something about it&#8221;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here in the Metro, of course, Ellison wouldn&#8217;t have to do squat.  Ramsey, Hennepin and Dakota county authorities would yank operation licenses so fast it&#8217;d look like a confetti parade.   In Greater Minnesota?
