Simon<\/em> yesterday.  The presser from the Minnesota Voters Alliance explains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u00a0The 8th Circuit\u00a0<strong>reversed<\/strong>\u00a0a lower court decision which authorized the Minnesota Secretary of State to<strong>\u00a0accept ballots seven days after the election,\u00a0<\/strong>and required an injunction against Simon for extending the statutory deadline for election day for receipt of absentee ballots.\u00a0<\/p><p>In our view, this was a scheme concocted by Secretary Simon in the first place, where he identified and encouraged his allies to file a lawsuit against him, knowing all along that he would enter into a consent decree with them just to circumvent the legislature and the will of the people. \u00a0We can not prove that of course, but in our view, that is exactly what happened. \u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>To sum it up:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&#8220;Progressive&#8221; &#8220;group&#8221; &#8220;files&#8221; a &#8220;suit&#8221; against a &#8220;progressive&#8221; Secretary of State. <\/li><li>The SOS &#8220;settles out of court&#8221;, signing a consent decree <em>with his allies<\/em> signed off on by a &#8220;progressive&#8221; judge.  <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Presto change-o.
