Yes, all women make 77% of what all men make &#8211; but that&#8217;s almost entirely a matter of choice,  As this bit from PragerU explains, the college majors that pay the best after graduation &#8211; things like Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Computer science &#8211; are, despite decades of outreach and cajoling young women to try &#8217;em out, overwhelmingly male.  In the meantime the degrees that pay least &#8211; Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Social Work &#8211; are overwhelmingly female.   Add in choices like taking time off to raise families, and  virtually the entire pay gap is explainable by choice.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"There Is No Gender Wage Gap | 5 Minute Video\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/QcDrE5YvqTs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>But our nation&#8217;s media class, set to work as it is mongering our nation&#8217;s grievances, won&#8217;t be letting that out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last Friday was &#8220;Black Womens&#8217; Equal Pay Day&#8221; &#8211; observing the notion that black women earn 68% of what white men get.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Full stop.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code><\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"mp_274293\" title=\"Marketplace Embed\" src=\"https:\/\/www.marketplace.org\/2020\/08\/13\/pay-gap-black-womens-equal-pay-day\/\/popout\" frameborder=\"0\" width=\"100%\" height=\"240px\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No breakdown of majors.
