We\u2019re going to have massively trained troops.&#39; No. You\u2019re going to have 19 year olds who are cooks.&quot;<\/p>&mdash; Theo Keith (@TheoKeith) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TheoKeith\/status\/1290734145031876609?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 4, 2020<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>So&#8230;note to future mayors:  When you go to Governor Klink to ask for the guard:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Watch &#8220;Patton&#8221; so you have some idea how to &#8220;plan&#8221; riot control<\/li><li>Specially request &#8220;no 19 year old cooks&#8221;. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Got that? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, let&#8217;s not for a moment pretend this public &#8220;squabble&#8221; between Mayor McDreamy and Governor Klink is anything but a public charade designed to give both the Mayor and the Governor political cover.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All I can say is, you&#8217;re in great hands, Minnesota. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mayor Frey is going public with his complaints that Governor Walz stonewalled him on sending the National Guard.
