These are traits of <em>Western Civilization<\/em> &#8211; which sprouted in the West, which happens to have been almost entirely white until a few hundred years ago, but could hypothetically have happened anywhere the ideals of individual worth and the value of the individual&#8217;s work have caught on.  For all the left&#8217;s yapping about &#8220;historical accidents&#8221; and &#8220;lotteries of history&#8221;, this was the ultimate one, in human terms. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I used to wonder what these people supposed would happen when you treat a group that isn&#8217;t fundamentally an &#8220;Identity&#8221; group\u00a0 as as identity group.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Now I&#8217;m pretty sure that&#8217;s the goal.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Individualism is groupthink.
