My neighbor and commenter PeterH has been asking in the comment section why conservatives aren’t out rallying against the proposals to subsidize a possible new Vikings stadium.<\/p>\n

There are conservatives who make valid cases against stadium subsidies – my NARN colleague King Banaian has written on the subject on an academic level, to say nothing of blogging<\/a> – and for it (this’d be Katie Kieffer<\/a>).<\/p>\n

For the record,I oppose on princple most government subsidy of anything – <\/em>not just billionaires’ businesses, but of extended poverty as well.\u00a0 But I digress.<\/p>\n

Without trying to control for political sympathies, let’s find out what the readers of this blog think:<\/p>\n
