BERG: Oh, gooooouuuuuuuaaaaaaahhhey, Avery. How you doing?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LIBRELLE: Fine. Just one my way to the Midway Walmart to buy handgun ammunition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

BERG: Hey, Avery – remember when you proposed using the government’s “terrorism watch list” to keep people from owning guns?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LIBRELLE: I must have. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

BERG: You did. And do you remember your response?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LIBRELLE: No.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BERG: You said I, and gun owners, were being “paranoid”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

LIBRELLE: You are. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

BERG: Not so much<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The [San Francisco] board of supervisors passed a resolution on Tuesday officially labeling the gun rights’ group a domestic terrorist organization.
District 2 Supervisor Catherine Stefani, whose district includes the Marina and Presidio, wrote the declaration stating that the NRA “spreads propaganda that misinforms and aims to deceive the public about the dangers of gun violence.”
It said the NRA “musters its considerable wealth and organizational strength to promote gun ownership and incite gun owners to acts of violence.”
“All countries have violent and hateful people, but only in America do we give them ready access to assault weapons and large-capacity magazines thanks, in large part, to the National Rifle Association’s influence,”\u00a0the declaration read.<\/a>
