Party convention  is there to fill the gap<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dsausa.org\/national-convention\/\" target=\"_blank\">National Convention<\/a>\u00a0in Georgia this weekend came to a screeching halt when one delegate formally complained of &#8220;sensory overload&#8221; from &#8220;guys&#8221; whispering in the room &#8212; prompting another &#8220;comrade&#8221; to grab the microphone to angrily demand an immediate end to the use of &#8220;gendered language.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The back-to-back moments of impassioned hypersensitivity at the gathering of the largest\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/beer-measure-socialism-failures-new-book\" target=\"_blank\">socialist<\/a>\u00a0organization in the United States led to\u00a0bipartisan mockery from\u00a0commentators, who\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CalebJHull\/status\/1157886373359230976\" target=\"_blank\">compared the scene<\/a>\u00a0to something out of the sitcom &#8220;The Office&#8221; or the sketch comedy group\u00a0Monty Python.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bHRxu3XrsHg\" allowfullscreen=\"\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The stuff that&#8217;s too far out for the <em>Babylon Bee <\/em>starts around six minutes in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;Uh, quick point of personal privilege, um guys,&#8221; began one delegate, who identified himself as\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/billpj84\/status\/1157778968247799808\" target=\"_blank\">James Jackson<\/a>\u00a0from Sacramento, and specified that he uses the &#8220;he\/him&#8221; personal pronouns.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>As soon as Jackson said the word &#8220;guys,&#8221; an individual in the audience could be seen\u00a0becoming visibly irate\u00a0in a\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UC6Bm7YK7z8Y2rGAmJx8Qaug\" target=\"_blank\">livestream video of the convention posted online<\/a>.<br><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>It could be any interminably tedious political convention, except for the suffocating PC and, of course, all the &#8220;Comrade&#8221;
