Morgan, commenting about Tide Pod Evita’s previous job:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCould be worse \u2026 Ivanka could have been a bar-tender 18 months ago [sic],\u201d Morgan wrote on Twitter.
Ocasio-Cortez worked as a bartender and as a waitress at a restaurant in Union Square before she defeated\u00a0Joe Crowley<\/a>\u00a0in the June 2018 Democratic primary race to become the youngest congresswoman in\u00a0United States<\/a>history.
The 29-year-old responded to Morgan\u2019s gibe with a tweet of her own, writing: \u201cActually, that would make government better \u2013 not worse.
\u201cImagine if more people in power spent years of their lives actually working for a living,\u201d she continued.<\/p>
