{"id":70957,"date":"2019-04-01T06:42:49","date_gmt":"2019-04-01T11:42:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=70957"},"modified":"2019-04-01T06:42:49","modified_gmt":"2019-04-01T11:42:49","slug":"theater-of-the-vapid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.shotinthedark.info\/wp\/?p=70957","title":{"rendered":"Theater Of The Vapid"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Denied a chance to run the policy table by the fact that they don&#8217;t control the Senate, DFLers in the upper house are going to try to bully and shame Republicans into submission with <a href=\"http:\/\/senatedfl.mn\/2019\/03\/27\/no-joke-senators-to-convene-senate-committee-on-banned-bills-on-april-1st\/\">today&#8217;s &#8220;Committee On Banned Bills&#8221; &#8220;hearing&#8221; at the Senate<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cThese bills have huge public support and are common sense ideas,\u201d Sen. Little continued, \u201cThey\u2019ve been banned for completely crass partisan reasons; because they are targeting certain seats, and don\u2019t want to give certain people any achievements to campaign with. But the senate can\u2019t make good decisions if major options aren\u2019t even on the table.
